Love this place - great for a drive thru run or sitting down for a quick meal - always fast and always tasty

Coming from working class worker of a local family owned resteraunt known as farmer boys where we embrace and practice philonoxia i am beyond disapointed in the quality and service i have been shown here , i do not plan on coming again, i mean seriously even on a bad day working myself do i treat customers with this kind of experience, We werent greeted upon walking in and treated very poorly and discriminated, we were denied Dining in after acedently slipping in resteraunt and demanded to leave, the food was great but still It sucks we have great places to eat but ran by very Unproffesional people , we all spent 100$ on this fake knock off albertos Place just to be kicked and still getting our order missed and wrong Just go to the real thing albertos read more

I wanted to like this place. The prices are a lot higher than other Mexican fast food places, the amount of food you get is general amount. You would think for the price that the food would be amazing but it's not always the case. It's a hit or miss and so far we have gone handful of times (4) and 3 times they have messed up our order and we've had to drive all the way back and they don't seem to care so much. They ask for the food back that they messed up (no problem , we won't eat it anyways) and then they will replace it. But they won't even offer a free cup of water for the inconvenience. Just seems like they don't really care. You definitely don't pay for what u get , I feel like it's too over priced for the taste. It's very mid in flavor. Here's the shrimp in the surf n turf burrito. A $16 burrito and the shrimp was a total of 4 shrimp and they were burnt and rubbery. This was the 4th time we've been here and probably the last. We have tried so much to like this place since it's kinda close by but I think 3 out of the 4 times we've had to go back or they've messed up our order. So bummed read more

I thought it was good but there's one change I'd like to see and that is the corn tortillas. They get hard fairly quickly and make it tough to eat. I won't be buying tacos there because of it. I also noticed no beans in the carne asada nachos. My wife was bummed out on that, too. read more

Service was great, menu selection was good. The inside was clean with a few tables to sit at to dine in. Salsa bar had carrots and salsa to pair with your meal. Ordered carnitas fries when I open the to go box it was massive no way two of us could finish it. The fries were a little soggy and the pico de gallo was full of onion, not much shredded cheese on the fries they were more dry. Taco Tuesday is a must-try!! The cabeza tacos are absolutely delicious!! I was told to try them with the green hot sauce which I'm looking forward to trying next time. Just tried this place cuz I wanted some genuine Mexican food. This was just not it. The food was not good, meat was chewy and burnt. Served rotten tomatoes with chimichanga. I used to love this place, our family would eat here once a week. I'm not sure what happened but everything is different. The food has gone downhill. The prices have gone up significantly. Last time we ordered our whole take out was wrong when we got it home. The meats are now dry and almost inedible, they use condiments to slather over what they serve hoping no one will notice how awful the real meal under the top layer of mess is. I am done trying to get a decent meal here. Our family used to be loyal customers but no more. Even when the food order is wrong, no one bothers to fix it. This place is delicious! Their carne asada is really good- not greasy or salty and a little crunchy! Perfect street tacos and both their red and green sauce are so good. My parents really liked the tortas and the hard shell beef tacos but they were a little greasy for me. We will definitely be back to try their breakfast. read more

So much bad not really any good. I went through the drive thru and ordered 2 orders of tacos ($8 each) I was a little blown away by the price but whatever they are hard shell beef tacos I know they aren't free so ok then I ordered an agua fresca. I get to the window to pay everything goes pretty smooth I get my drink I get asked about salsa and then the lady disappeared ok she must be going to make my food, I swear about 10 minutes later she comes back to the window but she never once looked at me or acknowledged me I thought wow ok they must be busy or something but there were no cars out front. I ended up getting my food a good 10 minutes after that. I don't want to exaggerate but had some of the worst street tacos and rolled tacos. The Al Pastor was burned like it's been reheated 10 times. The Asada the same. Very dry. I'm so glad I finally have a drive thru option right behind my house. I love the rolled tacos! My mom also liked them. When she passed away, I called a lot of Mexican places to cater her celebration of life before I called Los Jilbertos, because I didn't know they catered; but, since I like using small, local businesses as much as possible, I called to ask if they did. Not only did they cater but they had the best price of all the restaurants I called. Blanca and Martin put together an amazing feast for the celebration of my beloved mother's life and even delivered it right on time. Everyone loved the food, and I was so relieved that everything went so well. Blanca and Martin were both very empathetic and Blanca even sat down with me and helped me do some funeral coordinating. Stopped in for lunch, ordered a carne asada burrito with guac, and it was delicious. The service was mediocre but that's ok, it's a gas station fast food joint, no starts taken off yet. But my burrito was served on a soaking wet tray, water puddled on half the tray and a bit of it touched the burrito. Really got mixed feelings, the burrito was so good, the tray water was decidedly not. And it was very disappointing because how hard is it to flip over a tray to get rid of the water before setting the food on it? I may give it one more shot. read more
