Servings were plentiful; we had left overs which were still good a few days later! I can't say that the salsa or chips were memorable and wouldn't get a margarita there again. It seemed to be a family restaurant with just a few people working: someone in the kitchen and just one server. Service was as expected for that scenario: not necessarily the fastest or efficient BUT very friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

That being said "El Rodeo" is Frankfort's "Real Deal". This is authentic Mexican food, (to include Mexican drinks), and Spanish is the predominant language here. The food is fresh and well made. The service is awesome. Thursday is 1.50 Taco Thursdays and these are the ones that rock. Corn or flour tortillas with your choice of fillings. If you like Mexican video music also, you will enjoy this as it is shown on TV's but is not overbearing or too noisy. The young lady that works there, (I think she may be the owner), is absolutely awesome, and provides top notch customer service. If there is only one drawback to this entire thing, it would be the location. The place is off the beaten path on a side street to St Rd 28 and due to the chaotic mess that is the current road construction on St Rd 28, it makes getting there a little difficult. The lady at the counter was super friendly. And she had my fresh fruit cup fixed within a couple of minutes. Let's talk about the decor of this place. They have the cutest little swings. You can sit on. This was probably one of the cleanest places I have ever saw. There was not a speck of dust anywhere. There's also a great place for a little photo op.
