"There's still a Fred Segal?!?"…read more Because last I heard, they were all closed. So my curiosity got the best part of me and asked Hubbers if we can take a look around. He agreed. This ended up being a stop for him! I'm guessing they're still in the process of transitioning from Fred Segal to the now Summer Somewhere Wines stop. So.... Im not a wine fiend, but Hubbers is. He asked if we could just hangout here for a bit to try a white. "Of course!" I tell him. Marquis was our server and I gotta say, off the bat he was sooooooo friendly and welcoming. He answered all of Hubbers' questions regarding their products until he finally decided on one. I asked for water as I got parched from all the walking we did prior to coming through. Marquis checked on us after awhile, and he dreaded the fact he forgot to bring me my water. He felt really bad, I told him it wasn't a big deal and to bring me one when he got the chance. He did me one better and comp'd it for me. Sweet! It really was a good 20-minute chill. Hubbers enjoyed his sips, I enjoyed people watching as I sipped through my water and Marquis made the experience much better. Great first run!

We shared the Malibu colony tasting, a bit pricy at $42, but the wines are good, and the server was…read morecharming and knowledgeable, so we had fun. However, the location leaves a lot to be desired, so it's really a 3.5 star review. (I rounded up because of the charming server, not the wines). It's not a place to linger over drinks, as there are only a few seats and they don't have food or a restroom (we were directed to go up the block to a public space). But if all you want to do is taste some wines and purchase bottles then it's worth a quick stop.

We were treated so nicely and it was great to taste their wines and learn about their business. The location is very accessible and it was a great setup to enjoy wine with friends. I loved the passion Chris has when he speaks about the wines. I can't wait to go back and try more when I am in the area.

We immediately walked over and I was trying to get more info on what they're all about and I left confused. I considered hosting a party at blending lab in the past & I was under the impression that we blend our own wine. Yesterday I asked the guy behind the counter some questions and he didn't mention this option at all. He said we can taste wine and pay for a glass...I was actually trying to learn more about the business, not the offerings at the opening party . I'm truly invested in putting beautiful West Adam's on the map, I love and purposely made an effort to move into this neighborhood. Maybe next time I'll learn more about what they'll be offering at this new location. They have a cute interior plus a small outdoor area with string lights. I was a bit surprised the glass of wine was $20 which isn't competitive for this area (the area is not nice enough yet) but I know costs are getting high. I do want to support businesses moving into our community but I'd like them to take into consideration that this is still south LA and a lot of people who grew up in this neighborhood isn't a fan of the gentrification and pricing the businesses charge I do feel for them, people like me moving into the neighborhood hasn't helped but even for me I thought it was a bit much. I'll continued observing but nonetheless am happy to see something be open up. Maybe I'll take a class one day if that's still an option and update my review.

Very welcoming and comfortable enough to enjoy your time here. I like the setup and how the bottles are arranged throughout the store. Great for a date or meeting up with family and or friends. I had a great time experiencing 4 different wines and learning their backstories. Today's wine tasting included wines from "women wine-makers". Service - Awesome customer service from the moment we arrived to when we left. Both ladies were welcoming, friendly and professional. Our host was attentive and didn't rush us. No complaints. Very knowledgeable of the wines. They also have card games, puzzles and etc. for entertainment while sipping your wine. I can see myself returning whether it's after work or during the weekend. I recommend coming here if you haven't been already. I'm thinking about returning for a weekend event to see what the vibe is like.

Everyone in there felt like they were your new best friends and everyone was willing to share wines over interesting conversations.
