She explained everything in a way that actually made sense and was always patient and kind whenever I had questions. What really stood out to me was how supportive she was throughout the whole process. She checked in regularly, followed up when needed, and made sure I stayed on track, in a way that felt encouraging, not stressful. Overall, she made the entire admissions experience feel a lot less intimidating and something I could actually handle. I'm really grateful for her help getting started at WCU.

She helped me apply to multiple hospitals, fixed up my resume, and made sure I knew exactly what to expect during interviews. What meant the most was how she always checked up on me, making sure I was doing okay, reminding me about deadlines, and helping calm my nerves before interviews. She never made me feel like I was bothering her, and she always had good advice ready. Alla truly cares about her students, and you can feel it. I'm really grateful for all the support she gave me and how much time she put into helping me get ready for my career. If you're a new-grad or a student in school looking for guidance, she's the best person to have in your corner.

I had quality classes and great professors. I learned so much about the field I work in now. The university has so many amenities. There was also a lot of opportunities to get involved with organizations, clubs, etc. being involved enhanced my undergraduate experience. Parking was terrible and passes were pricey.

Even though it was "strange," it was actually pretty good. On the other hand, the Master's in Screenwriting was just awful. It was a terrible experience, with bad and unprepared professors, an all-white faculty with zero diversity, and a department chair (Mr. Jared Rappaport) who seemed completely lost and had no idea what he was doing. The entire body of professors was terrible--aggressions and lies everywhere. I had two classes that were repetitions of courses I had already taken as an undergraduate, even with the same professors. Additionally, during my thesis examination, one of the three professors who were supposed to give me feedback did not read my script. As a result, I only received two sets of feedback instead of three. Beyond that, my experience with the credentialing program at CSUN, under the Michael Eisner School, was equally disappointing. The lack of commitment, disorganization, and unprofessional behavior throughout the process was unacceptable. Communication was poor, requirements shifted without clear guidance, and there was little accountability. It is a terrible place to pursue studies if you expect seriousness, professionalism, or institutional support. In summary, I paid for a Master's degree that honestly taught me very little. I learned far more in the screenwriting courses I took at Los Angeles Valley College than in the CSUN Master's program. And if you are thinking about "networking," forget it. The network you can get from that institution is honestly BS. I do not recommend that program. Look for a more serious institution if you want to learn and feel genuinely appreciated. Do not pursue the Master's in Screenwriting at CSUN.

I completed the IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal Certification course at Los Angeles Career College,…read moreand I have to say--this place runs smoother than most hospital floors I've worked on. The staff was organized, check-in was easy, and the hybrid format made the whole process painless (unlike some IV attempts I've witnessed in real life). What really impressed me was how efficient everything was. Once I passed my exam, they handed me my certificate the same day--no waiting, no chasing emails, no mysterious "processing time." Just boom. Certified. I wish everything in healthcare worked that fast. Now for the real highlight: Instructor Steele Erickson. Steele is the kind of nursing instructor you secretly hope for but never expect to get. He breaks down IV therapy and blood withdrawal with such clarity and patience that even tricky techniques suddenly feel manageable. He teaches with a calm, supportive energy that makes everyone relax. He's incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely invested in every student, and somehow keeps the class both educational and entertaining. As someone with 25+ years in healthcare, I can confidently say instructors like Steele do not grow on trees. If you're considering getting your IV Certification, go to Los Angeles Career College and hope you get Steele Erickson as your instructor. You'll walk away confident, competent, and wondering why every nursing class can't be this smooth. Highly recommended!

My California CNA skills exam was confirmed in the official TMU/Headmaster system, but days before the test the school emailed and told me it was cancelled and that it "would not take place" if I showed up. TMU told me my exam was still scheduled and even had to call the school to remind them they were required to test me. On test day there were other students testing at the site, even though the administrator had told me there was no exam and that exams would no longer be offered there, which left me feeling singled out and misled. Throughout the program, it often felt like some students received more support and opportunities than others, which gave me the impression of favoritism rather than equal treatment. The school promotes itself as professional and student‑focused, but the way my exam was handled did not feel fair or transparent. I recommend future students closely monitor their TMU account, save all confirmations, and be ready to advocate for themselves.

We barely got a syllabus for term two before she went out on medical leave. My clinical instructors Mr. Dexter, Mr. Nino, Ms. Val and Ms. Donna was wonderful always helping us and making sure we understood our skills. If you needed to speak with any one in the office Ms. Tameeka, Ms. Ethel, and Mr. Noel was always accommodating and will resolve your issues as soon as possible. When it comes to talking with Dr. Arvella , honey be prepared to have thick skin because she come off very abrasive, rude, condescending and didn't care what you are going through. Yes I didn't make it pass term two however speaking with her about trying to reapply back into the program she said that she will have to feel it's in her best interest for her to allow me back into the program and not wasting her time. How the curriculum is set up. I don't care how long you study when it comes to the HESI specially dosage calculations no one really taught us the formulas and which formulas to use for different dosage. On top of that they only gave us a week in between to study for the next HESI with 12 additional assignments that is due that same week. Yes this is an accelerated program but you not giving your students the proper information to succeed. Arvella doesn't care about issue that arise in the classroom or how we feel like we are not learning from our theory instructor. She will tell you that she has personal hand picked her instructors. She hand picked them alright the new clinical instructor Mr. Muhammad kept making sexual comments towards the class when we were doing injections on an hot dog. Saying and I quote "don't put it in your mouths" and laughing about it. Where you have other instructor Mr. Victor getting dropped off by a student. Mind you when you sign up for the program you sign a contract stating no fraternizing with instructors while in school. So I impale Dr. Arvella to ask Mr. Victor about the student who drive the pink Mercedes G wagon who he has been seen having a disagreement with during clinicals. I will not be reapplying to this school and I'm not going to allow someone to dictate when I can come back and be force to retake term one to prove that I'm worthy of her time. But it is okay for a student to be out on medical for 3 weeks and have to option to go back to the term she didn't complete before her medical leave or start the next term. Dr. Arvella plays favoritism with students. Please deeply think about signing up for this college and this location. This school needs to be audit by the board of education.

Dear Student, First…read moreof all, I do not like to talk bad about anybody. I am a great believer in Karma and know that when you say something untrue about somebody with the intent to harm, it comes back to you ten-fold. However, I can no longer remain quiet about my terrible experience. This by far has been the worst experience in my life. My divorce was mild compared to the awful experience I had with my decision of enrolling in the Eisner Institute for Professional Studies. They are a fraud. Please do not enroll in this institute. To start, they are not an accredited college. The owner of the institute, Donald Eisner and his wife are extremely unprofessional, mean and malicious individuals. I lost three years of my life and over twenty thousand dollars studying for an MFT program that suddenly, they decided to change. Before they changed their program, Mr. Eisner told me that he would no longer accept my monthly payments even though he accepted them for three years. He stated that due to a "technicality," (whatever that meant) I had to pay my four remaining classes in full... it was over four thousand dollars I did not have. He also told me that when I graduated I was not able to be licensed. I would have my MFT without the option of licensure. This career without a license does not take you any where! Currently I am suing this institute. I have an attorney representing me. I have been hurt beyond belief. I have lost time, money and I am going through much emotional pain. I will not be able to continue my MFT program in any university because this institute is not accredited. Mr. Eisner is ignoring my attorney's letters, and now I am wondering if this man will ever give me back any of the thousands of dollars I paid him for nothing? Even if he refund me all the money, I won't get back all the lost time and my hardship.
