We finally tried Lid Amigos for the first time. First it is coincidently close by, second servers were so friendly. It wasn't just our server that checked if we needed anything else other server that would walk by made sure we didn't need anything else. The food was delicious and came quick. I can't believe the ratings. This place is fantastic. Everything on the menu is great. So fresh and great portions. Some of my favorites are the shredded beef tacos, the stuffed Avocado with shrimp. They use a large fresh avocado half stuffed with a bunch of very fresh shrimp, sitting on a bed of fresh lettuce salad and their special Los Amigo's dressing, Cold and crisp. Also try their chili relleno and their salsa bar with creative options that are free and all delicious. The servers are fun and good. Margaritas and Pina Canada's are good too. Bethany always makes my experience five star with a winning smile great customer service and the chefs are top tier. Never have to send food back or wonder if my waitress forgot me. Definitely a delicious place to get a $20 meal. I'm also a big fan of watching sports while I eat and never feel rushed out. Just a warm environment that's kid friendly and great for large parties. Honestly I didn't enjoy the food, I think it lacks a lot of flavor and traditional ingredients. I could only take a few bites I felt bad for wasting so much food. My drink was good though and I do think the prices are affordable. I didn't have the best service there as well, I guess since I came alone I was forgotten I wanted to order something different and my waitress said to any other group of ppl in front of me "ugh they don't realize I'm off the clock" well I was never told that, I was only there about 30min at that point. Place is clean, attended with a smile and service was great. Ordered a asada burrito for 11bucks. Kinda high but hey lets roll with it. Good variety at the salsa bar. Grabed it go. No napkins or fork. What I didn't know was that the burrito was like 3 pounds. Which can easily feed 2 people. The beans, rice, meat,guac, pico de Gallo were all fresh. I ordered a chimichanga...and got a burrito. Flavor was pretty good but for 9, I expected alot more and for it to be what i ordered. Husband and son ordered full size nachos 9.95 w/ steak (an extra 1.25). You will see in the picture what they got, very unimpressive. Good food, nice employees, but the cook is slower than my grandma was at age 90 and sometimes can't distinguish a corn tortilla from a flour tortilla. When he makes a mistake the restaurant gives out a credit for the next time which is nice, but what happened to customer service and getting an order right.
