    two tacos on a plate
    Yaneli V.

I've been working down the street for 12 years and I just now discovered this hidden gem! I took a late lunch today and decided I'd check out this place ( my co-workers husbands cousins tia recommended lol) for myself. I googled it and found the number and address. Noticed they were closing in 4 minutes but figured I'd give it a try. I called and asked if I could still place and order and she said, "sure as long as you finish within 3 minutes" lol I ordered 7 fajita tacos ( to share with a co-worker). The tacos were oh so good! Homemade corn tortillas, slightly bigger than store bought tortillas. They were loaded with this juicy and tender fajita meat. The salsa (both red and green) although not spicy it was very flavorful. I gave it 4 stars because neither salsa was spicy enough (for my taste) and also because the tortillas didn't seem fresh. The edges were a bit crispy which leads me to think they were probably made in the am and reheated later. They good nonetheless. I usually eat 4 tacos but I think 3 is enough from this place. They were reasonably priced, at $1.75 pe I read on their Fb page that the barbacoa tacos are really good, can't wait to try them next time. I found my new favorite taco spot close to work.

Instead, the food is sold just around the corner at Birrieria & Micheladas and it was absolutely worth it. The lamb barbacoa was very delicious, tasty, and perfectly moist. The goat birria tacos were also amazing and their fresh drinks are huge. After eating, we went back to the farm for a tour, which made the whole experience even better. Visiting both locations was totally worth it and made for a great, unique outing.

Once drinks finally came out, my husband had to wait a few more for his beer. The decoration was nice, the women's dresses and head bands were beautiful. Once we ordered, the food came to our table one late at a time, with a few minutes in between. Again we had to ask husband's plate because it still hadn't arrived. My son ordered a large sweet tea. At one point, when he placed the glass back on the table it broke from a corner and leaked all over him. We quickly did our best to clean up. The bus boy asked if we were the ones who broke it. (As if it were intentional) another asked if my son had extra clothes in the car... his shirt and pants were soaked. No consolation or solution. We asked for another drink. At the end they charged us for two drinks, even the one that broke and leaked all over him. They could have at least offered to send him home with tea to go. When I asked the waitress about the extra drink, she looked at me and didn't say anything. This time around the food was not as amazing as I first recalled. Not going back

I got their fajita maìz taco (corn tortilla, $1.25/taco) & it came w/ a cup of beans! Good flavor & surprisingly not oily either. I love their grilled onions & jalapeños that came w/the plate as well, ate that up! I like how their red & green sauce are packaged into individual little packets, similar to ketchup packaging lol. Their red sauce is pretty spicy, which I enjoyed & I usually like the green sauce more. I had a Mexican coke but they do have other drinks like agua frescas here, including horchata! *CASH ONLY!* But no surprise there when it comes to taco trucks, yal already know. My only complaint would be that their lime wedges could use more juice. I recommend checking them out & I would definitely come back here to get some tacos again! Friendly staff & good food for a fair price!! & again, it's a DRIVE THRU TACO TRUCK! Can't go wrong =)

He ordered the beef barbacoa tacos (or tacos de tlaquepaque), and let me know that Tlaquepaque it's actually a place in Mexico. The style of meat and the tacos is cooked in steam with no fat. The salsa that comes with it is made from roasted or sun-dried peppers. We also ordered a few other types of meat (the pork and carne asada, I believe). Everything was delicious, but the barbacoa tacos just blew me away. So simple and so... exquisite. Being the delicate, feminine creature that I am, I only ordered two tacos. Then I ate some of his. Then we ordered more to take back home to my family. I'm just a regular white girl, so my idea of tacos is usually something fried, piled with cheese and lettuce and sour cream and other random toppings. But when I tell you these tacos are perfect... I believe it's the steam technique they use, but the meat has so much flavor, a lovely texture and is perfectly moist (yes, I said that word. Deal with it). With just a squeeze of lime and a drizzle of salsa, it needs no other adornment.
