About 4 months ago I came in as a new patient due to needing a cleaning badly. While I was happy I was going to get seen I was frustrated that I didn't get the cleaning the website told me I was expected to get the first time and I had to skip an important class the next day. Other than that first hiccup the doctors and staff has been incredible. I got some filling cavity work done today and in the past I had a really bad experience so my anxiety was high. After explaining this to both the tech and Dr. Reimers and the techs were INCREDIBLE at assuring me about everything and guiding me through the process as they went! A new dentist at…read moreanother practice had falsely diagnosed a cavity, and Dr. B could have filled it and taken the money - but she called it - there was nothing wrong with the tooth. This was very impressive. Her dental hygienist, while a very nice, friendly and accommodating lady, is not very skilled. She gave way too much anesthesia than necessary for a root planing, lost track of what she was doing and started working on the wrong side halfway through, and was generally both rough and rushed in her work. She created new deep pockets that took months to heal! The front desk clerk has showed herself to be both curt and clueless multiple times. We'll be going elsewhere.

Recently I had to replace an old oral appliance and Dr. Demarest made recommendations based on my sleep apnea. I've tried C-Pap machines but with claustrophobia couldn't tolerate that device, so with an upgraded mouth guard designed for sleep apnea I've had great success with the oral appliance as treatment. I'm one of those "chickens" when it comes to any kind of dental work and they've always been compassionate and patient with my phobias. A special thank you to the Practice Manager Beauna who helped me to navigate my medical insurance coverage for my oral appliance.
