First of all this place isnt vegan. You'll find pork, chicken, chicharron, hamburgers etc. There…read moreare some vegan options and, simply put, the ones I tried were not very good. Prices were also high considering the poor quality and execution. You can eat far better on the street in mexico and for far less.
The Food:
The wedge fries had the distinct taste of being fried in stale oil and were also very undercooked. The tortilla soup tasted like nothing but tomatoes from a can with extra salt, and the temper burger was literally tempeh thrown in the fryer, nothing "burger" about the preparation.
Iced soy latte was SO bad that after I left I practically ran to Cardinal down the street to wash out the flavor with a properly delicious, excellent, spectacularly prepared using best ingredients (I could go on), true cup of iced coffee.
Great vegan food is very hard to find in Mexico City in general, so Im always happy when I see some options available. But not when they taste like this.
