The scents ranged to combine floral, herbal, earthy, woody, and/or smoky scents that have general appeal. The decor of the shop is amazing as you'll see lush greenery surrounding the storefront and their items are thoughtfully surrounded by plants/beans/materials that reflect what you are smelling. The items are not cheap as they'll run you $80-$200+ and quality reminds me of what you'd find at a store like dipytique. Nevertheless, both of their stores in Polanco and Juarez are outstanding and worth a visit, if only to sample their hand sanitizer and lotions.

I went looking for face paint to use for Dia de los Muertos and ultimately ended up at Bella after being directed there via a few other beauty stores that did not have holiday makeup. When I got there, I was surprised to find it bustling. Clearly, while I am not an aficionado of makeup stores, many other people (not only women) had found this place and had made it their go-to stop. Not only did they have a number of makeup options for me to look at, but the employee who helped me was extremely responsive and helpful. Even though I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for, she patiently showed me a number of options and was very understanding of my inexperience. I appreciate good service, particularly in this city when I don't find it very often. read more
