During the evening, I bought a bottle of water at the upper bar. While briefly speaking with a colleague (around 10 seconds), I placed the bottle on the lower bar counter opposite the cloakroom. A staff member immediately removed it. When I approached her right away and explained that I had just purchased it, she refused to return it or provide a replacement. The bigger issue was not the drink, but the way I was treated. The employee, who gave the name "Georgina" (tall, slim, brown hair), spoke no English at all and reacted in a very dismissive and disrespectful way. Instead of trying to understand the situation, she made a hand gesture telling me to go away. Her tone and behavior were rude and confrontational, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. For an international club of this reputation, it is surprising that staff in direct contact with guests cannot communicate even basic English or handle a simple situation professionally. The interaction left me with a very negative impression and a clear feeling of being treated without respect or basic courtesy. Because of this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning, and I believe other guests should be aware of how situations like this can be handled here.
