Being a Big Sur/Monterey local, Adam provided extremely helpful insight and feedback for my proposal. He definitely helped relieve a lot of the stress during the planning phase of my proposal. On the day of the actual shoot, the day-of jitters was overwhelming at times, but Adam's energy and demeanor was very centering. He was patient and gave my new fiancee and I space to calm ourselves, and also knew when to take charge and guide us with our poses. He also had amazing and creative ideas for how to pose and brought us to local, reclusive spots to take intimate photos. My experience with Ronnie Esparza Photography was downright unacceptable. During my daughter's team…read morevolleyball photoshoot, she had an individual picture taken while still wearing her sunglasses. My wife immediately noticed and politely asked Ronnie to take a quick retake once she removed them. Before my daughter could remove them, he snapped another shot and flat-out refused to take another one--claiming he only took two shots per kid. The issue? My wife personally watched him retake photos for several other girls moments later. That kind of inconsistency is unfair and unprofessional. If he's going to enforce rules, they should apply to everyone, not selectively! While he did issue a refund, that does nothing to make up for my daughter missing out on a proper photo to remember her season. Sports photos are supposed to be meaningful keepsakes, but his dismissive attitude made the entire experience feel rushed and impersonal. It would have taken him seconds to retake the picture and show even the slightest care for his work or his clients but he didn't. Ronnie Esparza Photography clearly lacks basic customer service skills and fairness. I won't be using his services in the future, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere if you value professionalism and respect.
