Joe had his receptionist call me the next day to schedule an in-person meeting. Joe was a no-show and sent his Sr Attorney, Susan, to meet with me. Strike one: when you get the chance to meet The GOAT, Erick Colletti, you take it. Susan was a good hostess offering me crackers and water and giving me a bag full of their crappy law firm merchandise. I explained my father's medical malpractice case to Susan. She called their Medical Oncologist in New York and had me discuss it with him. This idiot told me there was no way for me to prove my case without an autopsy. Strike two. I told him he was wrong. Susan asked me what stage lung cancer my father had, and I told her three. She told me, "I don't think Joe will take your case because we don't take advanced-stage cancer cases." That told me everything I needed to know about Joe's Messa and Associates: they are crooks who don't want to fight for justice, do not care about victims, and are just cherry-picking 7 figure cases that require the least effort.
