This will be the 3rd time I have ordered from Four Season, and am very happy with the price and how quickly they deliver you food! maximum 30 minutes. But it is the quality of food that I am writing about - if you want tasty, quality chinese cuisine, like real food - do not hesitate to order from here :-)

You can see the staff freshly preparing their dumplings in the kitchen and you can taste the freshness in the pan-fried dumplings or pasty. The shanghai pork dumplings on the other hand was the only item that seemed either overly steamed or cooked after significant refrigeration as the dumplings had hardened.  The chive is interestingly dominant in both the fish and chive dumplings and the egg and chive pasty whilst the coconut is pleasantly fragrant and significantly sweet in the coconut buns. Meanwhile the noodles are smooth but of a consistency more like pasta than traditional chinese noodles. In short Panda Dim Sum is a welcome option to have, delivering decent Chinese cuisine and fresh dumplings to this part of East London but it doesn't quite rival other Chinese restaurants that can be found throughout London.

I was craving noodles and ordered the "Stir Fried Fresh Noodles" w/ shredded duck (£8.95). They confirmed the noodles are handmade. Overall dish tasted like your regular Lo Mein - maybe my expectations were too high. The food was cooked-to-order though.

For a local Peking, Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine, its food is fresh, and the quality and taste is on par with its counterpart in Chinatown in the West End. You can get the usual fare and more. Be adventurous and you will not be disappointed. The space is comfortable and feels homely. The friendly staff, especially the lady owner loves to chat and gossip with the numerous regulars. Recently it has been renovated and modernised, but it has not lost it's local Chinese restaurant charm. Well worth making a trip or stopping when passing through Gant's Hill. If driving, they have car parking at the back, which you need to display a permit, obtained from the restaurant.

The service was surprisingly quick for New Years Eve - with staff who were polite, patient and efficient. A great selection of non-alcoholic cocktails were also available from the bar...which were a delight for us; the ONLY three sober girls there! Lovely.

Devastated by the fact that the Kun Wah in Leyton High Road had closed we stumbled upon this place and despite the lack of reviews and that it was deserted at 6.30 on a Saturday evening, we decided to give it a go. We were met by friendly and helpful service which continued throughout our meal. We were joined by a couple of tables of regulars and pleased to see a steady stream of take away customers. The menu is quite impressive for such a small place. A reasonable range of drinks on offer. The duck and seaweed arrived very quickly. I've no idea how they did it so quickly and frankly I don't want to know. But it satisfied our craving. It was hot,crispy and nicely presented. We moved on to order a couple of standard chicken dishes, including a hot plate. Again they arrived in minutes and were just what we were looking for. With wafer mints served after the bill this was real nostalgia. I grew up eating in places like this when some of the posh ones had tablecloths (this one doesn't).
