I utilized AG for the duration of our stay until I took another role and was relocated this past fall. Yes, you may have to wait but quality work is worth it. Oh by the way the wait time is not problem because unlike MOST barbershops the waiting area is clean and you don't have to worry about being solicited or overhearing what some would consider inappropriate conversations. I highly recommend this shop, and AG to anyone in the area. Friendly tip, book your next appointment while you're there waiting to be serviced... I would book my sons next 3 appointments as far as his calendar would allow.

They don't listen to what you want -- they freestyle with the clippers like it's open mic night. I asked for a simple trim, and they straight up cooked my ahh like I was dinner. I got on their website and easily found and booked an open appointment for the next day. The website makes it extremely convenient for the customer as well as David and Carl. It sets up their schedule when you book so they don't have to keep track of everything. You get a confirmation text and email when you book, as well as a couple of reminders. Carl is recently graduated from Clary-Sage college and did a great job on my haircut. He asked how I wanted it and made a few helpful suggestions. They use scissors on top, clippers on the sides, warm lather and a straight razor on the neck, a vacuum to remove trimmings, and a hot towel to clean off the neck and face. That is the basic $17 haircut. I only got the basic service as I did not have time for more; I wish I had, because the August/September special includes your choice of the Lucky Tiger Treatment, the Stress Mitigation or the Celebration for free (see website for details). The basic is $17, $19 if you need product washed out of your hair. They offer much more though, and I will definitely be returning for as long as they are in business and continue their great service, and will suggest Beldevere to any man in Tulsa looking for an awesome old fashioned barber experience from the 1950s, not just a standard haircut.

I made an appointment for 7:00am, found street parking on 4th Street (You can also park in the parking garage for $2/hour.) I arrived right at 7:00 and was greeted by the masked owner, David. His dog Trig is a very friendly dog who also greeted me. I got the $21 haircut as well as the clipper only beard grooming ($19). David is very personable and pays attention to what you want. He even keeps notes on how you want your hair cut. It was a very pleasant experience and I'm happy I've got a new barber.
