Some of the things that set Tonsorial apart were their online capabilities for scheduling, their beautiful and secure facility, and their warm and welcoming demeanor. The good thing at Cultured Hair Lounge is your hairstylist will spend the time listed, 45 minutes for all scissors haircut. So don't expect to be done before that time. Haircuts at Cultured Hair Lounge are more expensive than at your regular barbershop, more than twice as expensive. It's a nice shop on Route 66 and S. Lewis, but I feel the haircut isn't worth it.

I got on their website and easily found and booked an open appointment for the next day. The website makes it extremely convenient for the customer as well as David and Carl. It sets up their schedule when you book so they don't have to keep track of everything. You get a confirmation text and email when you book, as well as a couple of reminders. Carl is recently graduated from Clary-Sage college and did a great job on my haircut. He asked how I wanted it and made a few helpful suggestions. They use scissors on top, clippers on the sides, warm lather and a straight razor on the neck, a vacuum to remove trimmings, and a hot towel to clean off the neck and face. That is the basic $17 haircut. I only got the basic service as I did not have time for more; I wish I had, because the August/September special includes your choice of the Lucky Tiger Treatment, the Stress Mitigation or the Celebration for free (see website for details). The basic is $17, $19 if you need product washed out of your hair. They offer much more though, and I will definitely be returning for as long as they are in business and continue their great service, and will suggest Beldevere to any man in Tulsa looking for an awesome old fashioned barber experience from the 1950s, not just a standard haircut.

I researched barbers and after reading Belvedere's reviews on Yelp, I easily made an appointment on-line. The website explains what services are available along with the prices (very reasonable). I made an appointment for 7:00am, found street parking on 4th Street (You can also park in the parking garage for $2/hour.) I arrived right at 7:00 and was greeted by the masked owner, David. His dog Trig is a very friendly dog who also greeted me. I got the $21 haircut as well as the clipper only beard grooming ($19). David is very personable and pays attention to what you want. He even keeps notes on how you want your hair cut. It was a very pleasant experience and I'm happy I've got a new barber.
