Talk about a hidden gem!…read more We were driving to see our family in WV. We needed gas and this was the last place we could go for awhile. I jussst needed to use the bathroom and get a drink. Did a lot more than that. I had my first surge in almost 20 years here. The service was friendly, quick, informative and polite. They have their own deli so i grabbed a couple sandwiches that were delicious. You wouldnt expect it eh? They have great sandwiches and food with a wide variety of items to choose from. Cigerettes are ridiculously cheap compared to the city. The bathroom was expected to be terrible but it was clean and functional. The area surrounding it is rural with a couple of small paths to work your legs out after a 2 hour drive. Plenty of gas pumps. Yada yada. You just never imagine to find a Sunoco here. I dont know why sunoco picked this place out in the middle of no where but it is well needed as we gas up here, take a break and eat before the long haul up the mountains. We always visit and we'll stop by in 2 weeks again on the way to WV. My only warning is it comes up on you fast so be prepared to brake. If you pass it. You can make a uturn in under a half mile. Just a fair warning

The headliner was The Pat Travers Band and they rocked some great blues. The Ori Naftaly Band from Israel and the Skyla Burrell Blues Band were my favorites. This was the 14th year and the weather could not have been any better. There was a nice cloud cover but the rain held off and the temps stayed around the mid-80's. Lot's of food vendors as well as other corporate sponsors/vendors marketing their products. They could have done better by having the beverage tents scattered around the area rather than in just one spot. It would have also been nice to have a choice other than just two lite beers. There were only five Port O Johns which made the lines long and the waits even longer. At $10 bucks for an advance ticket though, it's a good value for a good cause and some great Blues.
