As we were getting ready to cross the street, I noticed the porch of Oaks Bluff Inn and we thought, hmmmm is this our spot? We came in and called the number and connected with the owner. We are checked in, have walked the town, gotten back in time for cookies & lemonade, and now getting ready for dinner out. We are going to buy a lotto ticket because we feel really happy and lucky to have found Oak Bluffs Inn and Erik. There were so many adorable details, I wish I had taken more photos. Inside, there's tea available all day, and free breakfast in the mornings. The spa is embedded right in the hotel, and when you're a guest using the amenities is seamless. You can easily get into an exercise class, like Zumba or yoga, or use the pool and the saunas- there's one with hot dry heat and another with steam. When you get up to your hotel room it feels more like you're in some kind of time capsule. They have kind of an exhibit of historical objects from the area. Then the room is kind of effortlessly elegant, in that unique New England-y way- just nice furniture, great materials in the bed sheets and whatnot, and some spiffy flair- like a luxurious tub with a huge tabletop for putting bubble bath, salts, spa essentials, maybe a bottle of wine?, and an outdoor terrace for having a light breakfast in the morning (put some fruit in your mini fridge, from the morning or from a market nearby). She asked us if we would like a room with a balcony and of course we said yes! The house is located directly across the street from the beach. Unfortunately, most days we were there it was foggy, but beautiful nonetheless. We visited off season. She gave us ideas on things we can do, since we took our car on the ferry over to the island. The beach house was cozy and quiet. Every morning when we woke up, we smelled and were offered fresh baked cookies. I would absolutely come back here again.

Made a last-minute online inquiry on a Friday afternoon to see if they had "room at the inn" the…read morefollowing day - got a response back within an hour from owner Larry who said he had one room left for us to stay, and knocked off a percentage of the cost since it was a last-minute booking. My husband and I were elated. The owners were wonderful and we had a relaxing stay in their beautiful home. We were greeted by Larry in the morning for breakfast, who prepared some delicious blueberry pancakes for us and we enjoyed great conversation with he and his wife and the rest of the B&B guests. Couldn't have asked for a better stay for our first trip to Martha's Vineyard. We'll be back!

Oak Bluffs is a bustling town that offers excellent restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors and boutiques. Quick and easy check in. Perfect location, beautiful views of the Oaks Bluff harbor from our 3rd floor room balcony. We took advantage of the comfortable porches to people watch and view the breathtaking sunsets. Quiet despite being right on the street. Our room was very nicely decorated, spacious, extremely comfy beds, great shower and amazing A/C! Overall very cozy and quaint! Our host Billy is friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning here in the future! Highly Recommended!
