They always take time to talk to you about your procedure and let you ask questions. They've been very professional in my experience. They offer so many different services I can't even keep track of them all. There is also a rewards program called Brilliant Distinctions you can get in on! I've never had a bad reaction or a problem from either service I get there and I'm really looking forward to rescheduling my lip injection appointment that I had to reschedule last month due to exposure to Covid. Last Friday, my sister and I got out hair done at this place to prepare for prom. The hairstylist saw us at the window, and I believe she recognized that my mom, sister, and I were a bit timid and unsure if we could go in. However, the first thing I saw was an optimistic, happy, and welcoming smile. She introduced herself as Erin (if I spelled that right) and gave me and my family a hand shake. She also introduced to her coworker, Vivian, who's daughter is actually a junior that goes to the same high school as me. Vivian's daughter and her friend were also very nice, as they were getting prepared as well. The daughter's friend was getting her nails done by her father, who I believe is the main manicurist of the salon. So when I showed Erin what I wanted for my hairstyle, she and Vivian ultimately showed their determination that anything is possible. Erin complimented on my hair, that it was long, thick (Usually when people say my hair is thick, it sounds kind of negative, but with her it wasn't.), with a beautiful color, and that it would be easy to achieve the hair that I wanted based on the picture that I showed. So, I got my hair washed and as I and my sister were getting our hair styled, we had some fun supporting our fellow underclassmen (even though we did not know them fully) as they get dressed up for prom. Their hair, make up, dress, and everything else was so beautiful ~ ! As time goes on, I never thought my sister's and my hair would become so different. You see, we never had our hair curled for years (for my sister, it may be her first time). Erin and Vivian did so well checking to see if we liked it or not, and if they need to make any adjustments, based on our tastes. In the end, it looked so beautiful, even though I tried to loosen the curls more once I got out of the salon, but it wasn't Erin's fault, I showed her two pictures and I should've tell her to do a combination of both. However, we ended up going to the prom feeling confident and beautiful thanks to these two. It ended up being $95 for each of us, however it was really worth it, and I really suggest going here. So far this could be the best service I had ever had from a hair salon in my entire life. I really felt I've made new friends in there.

This was my first visit to this salon, and I came because I researched reviews and was excited to get a few services, which I never do for myself. All services were booked through Polished Salon on Phorest. I specifically asked for callus removal before and during my pedicure on my first visit, the young girl who did my pedicure replied " oh yeah! definitely! we've got an hour an a half!" but it was not provided. Instead, I was told to come back the following week, and they ended up doing an entire keratin treatment to remove my calluses. When I asked the front desk staff why the callus removal treatment was not performed during my first visit, the front desk staff replied, "I don't know." I booked a brow lamination service expecting professional results and clear communication, but the service did not turn out as expected. After my appointment, I noticed issues with the lamination and returned to the salon several times in an effort to have it corrected. Throughout the follow-up process, communication was very frustrating. The technician was difficult to reach, and when I contacted the salon with my questions and concerns, I was told she operates as her own separate business and that they could not help with concerns related to her work or clients. Since I booked through the salon, it was disappointing to feel that no one was willing to take responsibility for helping resolve the issue. The experience quickly became overwhelming as this was my FIFTH time back within one week, I was given answers such as "I don't know," and I felt the front desk had essentially told me I was on my own. I specifically asked the front desk staff to help me and provide answers; I never demanded a refund. I also apologized to everyone in the waiting area as I began to have a panic attack. I was sobbing so hard I could barely catch my breath. Another customer at the salon kindly stayed with me outside for about 30 minutes until I calmed down. I also reached out to the salon owner to share my concerns, but instead of feeling heard, I was described as causing a "commotion" and "aggressive," which was hurtful given how respectfully I had tried to address the situation. The technician did eventually refund the cost of the eyebrow service, but only after offering to redo my lamination for the 3rd time in one week (not healthy or safe) multiple return visits and a significant amount of time and effort on my part. During my last visit, she said she had "done a lot of work" on me and explained that my brow lamination was more of a "straightening" of my brow hair. My brows are naturally straight, so this would not have been necessary. I wish that had been discussed before the service or at my first follow-up, not after five visits. If my brows were not a good candidate or the results were expected to be limited, I should have been told upfront. While I appreciate the refund, it did not make up for the repeated trips, poor communication, and emotional distress. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business, and I hope my review helps others make an informed decision before booking.
