I am sharing my firsthand experience to help future buyers make an informed decision…read more I purchased my dog from this kennel on April 27, 2024. At the time of purchase, I was told I was receiving a healthy puppy. Within a few months, in September 2024, my dog began limping intermittently without any known injury. After veterinary evaluation, he was later diagnosed with luxating patella, which multiple veterinarians explained is a genetic orthopedic condition. This diagnosis was confirmed through examinations and X rays, and the condition has progressed from Grade 1-2 to Grade 3-4 despite his young age. Since adoption, I have spent over $10,000 on veterinary care related to this condition. This health issue was not disclosed to me prior to purchase, and I would have made a different decision had I been aware of the risk. In addition to the medical concerns, my dog has exhibited ongoing fear based behaviors since coming home, including anxiety and difficulty with handling, which required professional training support. When I raised concerns and shared veterinary documentation, I did not receive a resolution that addressed the medical issues. My experience left me feeling that important health risks were not adequately communicated prior to sale. I strongly encourage prospective buyers to ask detailed questions, request written proof of health testing, and carefully consider all information before purchasing.

The precious puppies' staff is extremely knowledgeable in their field and they were excellent in explaining everything to my wife and I. If you are seeking a pure-bred dog, I would highly recommend contacting Precious Puppies. I was also astonished to discover that if they currently don't have a dog you wish to purchase, that precious puppies is always breeding multiple types of dogs. My wife and I purchased a little Maltipoo and his temperament is excellent and amazing. It is our opinion that his temperament is amazing because of the environment and upbringing by Precious puppies. It is apparent that Precious Puppies takes pride in their breeding and upbringing of their puppies. It is also apparent that Precious Puppies socializes these puppies so when they go to your home the transition is seamless. Thus, if you are seeking a pure-bred puppy that has an excellent temperament, it would be worth a visit to precious puppies. Further, their pricing seems reasonable for what you are purchasing and for all the time and efforts of each precious puppies staff member who has put in all the time upbringing each animal. Their dogs' temperament and pricing is much better than any pet shop. Again, I would highly recommend contacting precious puppies to either purchase your first dog, or in our case our third dog!

Go no further for a Labrador retriever breeder. She raises the parents and pups right in the house…read more No cages, no garage, just with her kids and husband. There temperament is beyond what you could want. She is open to questions and extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable, very 'warm and fuzzy' attitude. We fell in love with the moms instantly! Our baby is three weeks old now and we can't wait. We have visited four breeders and none compare to Jacque and her babies. Highly recommended

In April we purchased a 7 week old female puppy from Jacque Aguirre of Limelight Labs and it's been…read morea nightmare. Within the first couple of weeks our puppy began showing episodes of staggering, collapsing limbs and involuntary head tremors which lead us from veterinarian to neurologist, expensive testing and the diagnosis of a congenital neurological disorder. From the beginning I updated Jacque occasionally with our puppy's progress with only minimal response from her. A recent hunch had me read over the AKC registration papers of the dam and sir, Lima and Burly, given to us at adoption, when I discovered they were daughter and father - inbreeding! After weeks of grief and confusion we finally had the truth. I confronted Jacque and she claimed to have no knowledge of the inbreeding and blamed it entirely on her mother, an experienced breeder who supplied Burly's "sample" at a Veterinary hospital. Whether this was truly a stupid oversight or greed, (Jacque had another dam give birth only 3 weeks after our puppy came home) is unclear, but looking back there where other signs (and what was not being said) that have us questioning her motives. Jacque has wisely refunded our adoption and veterinary expenses. It's uncertain what our beloved puppy's length or quality of life will be, somedays are good, some not, but we will care for her as best we can. Returning her was never an option. I'm posting this review because I don't want another dog to suffer unnecessarily and family live through this heartbreaking experience.
