Wouldn't recommend under any circumstances. Trust me this is worth the read if you're talking about one of the most important days and period of time of your life.
*Major issue:*
- We sent two wire transfers of ~$20K USD to them and both times we lost money when their bank rejected our transfer without providing a reason. Our Bank confirmed all of the info we provided was correct and has since provided us written documentation that the wire did transfer successfully but was actually rejected after receipt. We told Pamela about this she wasn't helpful at all and didn't truly try to help she just said, "I didn't get it". We ended up losing around $1,110 USD never recouped all of our money back. About a month later she suddenly created and sent us an entirely different USA based bank account and a different company name (very suspicious activity).
*Wedding day issues:*
- Paid 10K+ for flowers and the planners didn't even ensure our bouquet made it back to us or our room after. Just threw it away or gave it to one of their friends at the venue smh
-Lied and delayed our ceremony because "it was too hot with the sun on people and they were waiting for people to sit down" meanwhile afterwards we realized this didn't happen. We assume now they were just unorganized as always and the horrible part about this was the cocktail hour ended up being cut short by 20 mins despite us paying thousands for the space, time and food that we couldn't fully enjoy because of their issues.
-We made 18 variations of custom napkins with handwritten love letters printed on them utilizing our own time and money and they only put out 3 / 18 variations and didn't give us back any of the leftovers. Wasted hundreds of dollars on this despite a significant conversation about it 3 days prior to the wedding.
- Didn't ensure we received our dinner appetizers on our wedding day and didn't bring us any of the apps from the cocktail hour.
-We spent hours packing welcome boxes for friend and family and gave them to our wedding planners to put in their rooms and at least 5 never made it to our guests including people in our wedding party, what a shame. No apologies from the planners.
-Mariana had a careless and forgetful attitude throughout.
*Planning issues:*
- 5 mins before the rehearsal Pamela and the planners realized they booked the rehearsal in an area that was closed off for a different wedding. They were also all late with their timing which delayed our welcome party.
- Pamela was MIA once the contract was signed. Pamela lies, for example prior to hiring her she never plans 2 weddings on the same day which was a complete lie and she accidentally told us about 5 days before our wedding that she had 2 weddings that day so she was also MIA on the wedding day too.
- Designer, Ernesto, is a complete waste of money.The renderings he sent were missing massive structures in them - had we not called out things like this it would have been a disaster the day of. Too junior and zero taste or creative direction.
- We had to initiate and schedule wedding planning calls. 2 weeks prior to the wedding they hadn't planned any prep calls to go over the rehearsal, confirmed layouts, run of show, photos and countless critical details.
- Hair and makeup vendors were late
- When speaking to some of the vendors we discovered they had backend deals with 3rd parties that were driving up their rates. I wonder who those 3rd parties are affiliated with, hmmm.
- They ask you to print, scan, sign and fax documents instead of providing a docusign.
-Countless emails and aisle planner messages went unanswered. We had to often escalate to Pamela to get a response and she eventually acknowledged this at the very end of planning with a slight apology but no real change in the behavior of the team
- Andrea was useless. At one point she started telling us finding certain vendors are certain prices was impossible but she must have forgot that she told us she just started the job 3-4 months prior so she has zero expertise to even say things like this. read more
