I had a wonderful therapeutic lymphatic+ massage today with Nicole. I found her to be a very empathetic energy worker.I really appreciated the time she took before the treatment to discuss my personal experience in my body and how my body is working for me and lets be honest, at this point in my life (60), how it's not working for me. Physical disabilities, trauma, poor body alignment, emotional baggage, daily stress! It's all is stored in the body. I recently moved to the area for cancer surgery and I wanted to find a therapist that could help me post operatively lymphatically and also help me get a head start to clean out old energy and toxins in my body before my surgery. I came with chronic neck and upper back pain. The office is very clean, comfortable and absolutely welcoming. Nicole treated me with craniosacral and massage at my first appointment. She was very lovely and I felt comfortable as soon as I met her. The treatment was relaxing and very gentle. She is professional and I had a great time. What I like about Nicole is she listens to you and is very knowledgeable. It's not just "fix what is sore." She works with you to make small changes in your everyday habits that will help you combat your problem areas. She takes notes from session to session so that she can track what different muscle groups are doing and how you are progressing. Overall, she takes the time and care I am looking for in a massage therapist. Of course, her hands are fabulous and when she breaks out her pressure tool, look out -- deep tissue here we come! Nicole is an awesome massage therapist. She is very conscientious about explaining what she is doing and why and gives you things to do or think about that you might not have been aware of. I was recently diagnosed with liver dysfunction and my doctor recommended a special massage called MLD (manual lymphatic drainage) which is something that Nicole specializes in. I was apprehensive, but Nicole walked me through it, and believe it or not, it was quite relaxing. I could tell a difference in how I felt once I left her office.
