This is probably because the building does look rather newish, though I would sort of put it at being about the 60s or 70s when they didn't put much pride in their design. The beer selection was quite limited as well, but as I said, it is a country pub. However, they do have some nice displays on the wall, and the view from the beer garden is nice, so I'll give it that.

However, as a place to grab a quiet drink, well, I probably wouldn't be putting it up there on my list of favourite pubs, particularly since the selection of beers on tap are actually rather limited. As for the atmosphere, well, it really wasn't all that great either, but still, it certainly wasn't the worst that I have been to.
