We both had it in our calendars for 2. When we got there the lady at the front was extremely rude throughout the whole interaction. She told us were we SOL and our apt was at 1 not 2. Which is not what we were told on the phone. When confusion happens in a business interaction (which it does) it's the businesses responsibility to make it right. Not only did they burn the bridge with our business, but we both left extremely frustrated that an appointment only business didn't honor the appointment we were given. Seriously one of the most rude customer service experiences I've ever had if I could give this place 0 stars I would. I hate that I couldn't even rate them on the work they do because of how disrespectful they were.

My husband was driving through Statesville, NC, when diesel gas started pouring out of his engine…read more He is a hot shot driver, was carrying a heavy load on a 40' trailer and was really stuck. Most mobile mechanics only work on semis. We were lucky to find Larry. The parts houses were closed, we ended up having the truck and trailer towed so Larry could work on it the next day. Since my husband would spend the night without access to food or water, Larry and his wife brought my husband some sandwiches and drinks. The next day he quickly repaired my husband's truck, he was back on the road and made his delivery on time. Larry is the one to call if you are in his area and need repairs done. His charges were reasonable, he did a great job quickly. He went above and beyond and we will never forget you. Thank you Larry.

Asked them to thoroughly go over a recently purchased used pickup (older, but low miles) to address…read moreanything which might become an issue in the near future, and also to repair the AC. When I handed them the keys, the truck ran like a fricking top. Carswell did brakes, AC, new starter, battery, water pump, etc. I will say the brakes feel good. They had the truck for MONTHS, to where I was starting to wonder if I'd ever get it back. $1750 for parts, $3253 for a total including labor. Yeah, parts cost what they cost. But, I didn't expect so many of the things they fixed to be busted in less than 8 months. Oil pressure gauge they put in, had to pay someone else to replace a month later. AC stopped working after I used it twice. ( I think the harmonic balancer/damper they put in is bad, or the motor mounts, shouldn't be plugs and wires since they did those.) I ran it on the Highway for hours before taking it to them, but after picking it up it overheated that day after 30-40 min. Took it back to them and they charged over $500 to fix the AC again and it was leaking oil because the plug hadn't been put back in properly the first time. The air intake was also flopping around and making a lot of noise so I fastened that this week-it hadn't been clipped back on ( not a thing which could've bounced loose from road vibration due to being screwed down improperly). An engine shroud was also taken off and left loose, just hanging out under there. It was returned with low coolant. Mechanics are in general highly skilled and should be paid well, hence my first visit. But, in my neck of the woods there's an honor system of not charging if your work fails basically immediately, a hand shake warranty if you will. I've only put a couple thousand miles on this truck over the last 8 months, not like I'm running it hard. I appreciate the few things they did well, but damn, 4k+. Hey, the brakes feel good and I get compliments at the gas station. Lol.

They figured out the cause and fixed it!! (A door with a tiny weird defect that had developed over time... so it was not latching and set off the alarm...) For a very reasonable cost!
