When the Thermador certified repair tech came to install the board, he informed me that a pin was missing on the board making the board unusable. Upon further inspection, the tech pointed out that the pin was not missing, but was actually protruding through the wrong side of the board. Although the ebay 30 day guarantee period had expired, I reached out to A-Tech asking for either a replacement board or a credit. After several emails, A-Tech finally responded that since the 30 day ebay return period had expired, they were not "obligated" to refund my money. I acknowledged this point, but pointed out that in my business, I oftentimes do things for my clients because it is the right thing to do, even though I might not be obligated to. A-Tech responded that I should "take a lesson" from this experience. Lesson taken for sure. So the bottom line is that if this company won't stand behind a product that they sold for $150, how likely are they to stand behind one sold for $500? One final point, this rating carries one star only because that is the minimum rating allowed by yelp. Given the choice, I would give them zero stars.

These were never identified by the home inspector when I purchased this ole "dream home" in beautiful Longview. After the purchase, drains kept clogging; we never could be confident to use sinks, toilets. Joe at "Drain King" Company knew why, explained and set up a plan for future adjustments needed to keep our lines clear. He didn't just leave after one toilet unclogged, but searched out other problems until our whole home now has entire clear pipes. And he wasn't bad on my pocket book at all! The master plumber - owner at this company has been doing this trade as a teenager, now still a young man, with tons of energy and optimism. He really grins when the plugged line finally lets up and burps. You really will get your money's worth plus more when you have Joe over to deal with your pipes! The…read morejob consisted of replacing the foam cushion inserts and fabric covering of the seats and replacing the fabric on the existing foam inserts for the backs. An owner came to my house to get the measurements, I chose the fabric, left a deposit of $150 and was given an invoice showing a balance owing of $370.83 with delivery in three to six weeks. A month later, the shop had not even started on the cushions. Numerous excuses followed over the next several weeks, but finally I was told the fabric had arrived, however, they had only ordered enough fabric for the seats and not the backs. So they remeasured the area again, confirmed their error, and informed me they would have to reorder. More waiting. Then because their supplier didn't have enough of that fabric left, I had to choose another fabric. I would ask to speak with Andrew, the owner, on the numerous occasions that I went into the shop. I was always told he wasn't there. I kept leaving messages for him to call me. He never did. Finally, several weeks later, after threatening to take the job elsewhere, I was promised they would get right on it. Finally this week, just over four months from the day that I contacted them about the job, I was finally told the cushions were done. When they were delivered, I was very pleased with the workmanship. The person who made them did an excellent job. And then I was presented with the bill: $794.54 less my deposit of $150.00 leaving a balance of $644.54! I was told that they had originally not charged me for the back cushions, just the seats. Paying for work done is not the problem here, but AT NO TIME during the long, drawn out process was I ever informed that they had misquoted the job, or, since the cost would be $274 more, ask me if I still wanted to go ahead with it. The major problem is lack of communication both from the office staff and owner. Any updates I managed to get from them was because of my insistence. And to date, Andrew has still refused to contact me. So if you want a great end product, don't mind getting a run-around for four months, and enjoy the surprise of being charged substantially more than what you were quoted, Perfect Stitch Upholstery is the place for you ... but it's definitely not for me!
