Clarke's have a really good selection of meat wehther you like it sliced, diced, chucked, minced, casseroled, braised and the prices are not silly. The pork, beek and lamb I have bought from there has all been from Wales. The mince meat I had looked low in fat. Lamb is always my favourite. If you are not a great cook, its very hard to go wrong with a pre prepared lamb kebab on the skewer with different coloured peppers. Their home made beef burgers are just 70p each. They are more than happy to give you the meaty facts if you want to go in and ask about what you are buying. Bon appetite.

I ordered a burger (freshly cooked in a couple of minutes) with raw onions and mayonnaise for just £2 which was served in a large plain white bun; that definitely filled me and I would go back again whenever I'm in need of a convenient lunch. Since they boast such a wide variety of ingredients such as various pre-cooked meats, sliced salads and other condiments, the choice is really yours. The first time I went I was spoilt for choice and couldn't quite decide and a really friendly guy helped me out and asked what the occasion was, what kinds of things I like and told me to get the lemon and garlic chicken it was divine! I also have tried the salt and pepper ribs and minted lamb shank all absolutely incredible. The reason I chose today to write a review is the pork pies are meant to be incredible so I ordered my dad a large pork pie saying no1 dad on it, fab gift and not pricey! Definitely worth a try!
