The service was good and the band was great from 9:49 til 10:30 pm Friday January. I was with 7 patrons but 3 of us were sitting at the bar from 9:30 til the band played the next set around 10pm. I was told by my one friend who is overweight that she lost her seat as a a young lady ordered food and took her seat. The bar tender said she could order food but that was someone else's seat. As a gentleman with a MBA and lived all over the country was appalled to hear your bartender let his lady steal our seat and throw my jacket and shirt on the floor. I had already spent $118 on drinks for the 6-7 friends I had there and your bartender was extremely sly rude and kicked us out. Any smart and prudent business ow we would consider the customer right or at least know their are 3 sides to every story. 2 of us left with the 25 year old taunting us and your bartender said good were on the way. What sir would you advocate and support your employee the charge to be when a new patron steaks the seat and tosses another patrons jacket on the floor? I left no tip and she said Efff off. Is this how you run your business. Call me 904-315-5119 I have never been so insulted and rebuked for questioning why a seat was stolen, another patron called my friend a fat bitch, then my jacket tossed on the floor. Are you guys just a bunch of disrespectful people because maybe that young lady was a local, Well I spent my life in marketing and word of mouth and reviews so matter. I hope you have more class than to allow your employees to be rude, obnoxious, and play sides when we clearly were there for well over an hour Respectfully read more

The Smoke Cloud has CLEARED!!! I often frequent this bar when I'm out in Welaka visiting the in-laws at their second house on the river. About 9 months ago Long's Log Cabin Bar was very different in that it used to be a smoking bar. It was not a nice place to hangout and was very disgusting, after just being in the place for 5 minutes your clothes would be reeking of cigarettes. But thats not the case today! Long's recently made the decision to be a non-smoking bar. SUPER POINTS there!... I actually find myself visiting more often now than I ever did since the smoke has finally cleared. Upon walking in you are greeted with that classic log cabin theme on the inside with a live bad area up in the front with ample dancing room and a jukebox. The 2 pool tables to enjoy a late night game conversation with friends and then the many high top tables around the back and then the bar. They don't serve food here from my understanding but have your typical bar snacks instead. I enjoy their many craft-beer selections at rock bottom prices too! Long's is the only place around that has a good rotating craft-beer selection form St. Auggie brews to Jacksonville brews and even an occasional Miami brew. Any good beer connoisseur would be well pleased. They also have many hard liquor selections as well, even offering a take home bottle service too. **Overall, Its a great place to mingle with the locals or just relax with a cold one after a hot stressful summers day. Either way you will not be disappointed at Longs Log Cabin. Cheers! read more

Owner and staff rude and inconsiderate spend money for 3 hours and go to bathroon and come back to seat and someone took my seat and was told that there was no saving seats and i had to move i was the designated driver for a party of 5 and feel that was very poor judgement on the part of managenent There was people from our party that told the others that was our seats Very poor job by this establishment read more

Great bar with a diverse crowd and fair prices also the only place to get food after 10pm. Try the wings.

Awesome place to hang out and watch a game or listen to a band. Owners are there a lo and are great people. Cheap beer and great bartenders. You will need to go to the bar for service most of the time because there's no waitresses and the bartenders only have time to come around once in a while. Bar food above average and wings are very good. Great neighborhood place. read more

Long's Log Cabin Bar & Package - New Year's Eve! - Bars Near Me - Welaka, Florida

Long's Log Cabin, and places like it, live deep in the DNA of every real drinker. As American as apple pie and budget deficits. Before gentrification, these honest neighborhood dives could be found all over big cities; those smoky, mirror-walled joints with cheap drinks, pickled sausage, Slim Jims and bags of chips on the menu, a pool table, and locals who all know each other - drinking at 2pm on Monday. It's where men used to go after work for a few cold ones and some good company. These grand old institutions of American drinking are disappearing from many neighborhoods, but can still be found in every rural community. In the one-stoplight town of Welaka, the Log Cabin is that place. The atmosphere is basic, but clean. The liquor selection has all the usual offerings. What's unusual for this kind of place, in this kind of town, is the beer selection. It's not World of Beers, not even close, but they offer several good beers in bottles and the owners make a genuine effort to offer a craft brews on tap. Considering they only have 8 taps, that 4 of them are dedicated to crafts is a bold commitment. They have a rotating selection of something good from local (Jacksonville, St. Augustine, etc) breweries. For a beer connoisseur, this makes Log Cabin the only place in Welaka with quality beers on tap. Better yet, at $3.75 for the good stuff, it may be the cheapest pint in Florida! Many years ago I would have rated Log Cabin 5 stars and slept in the storeroom but my tastes have changed to higher end places that only exist far, far from this tiny town. That said, If you find yourself in the area and are thirsty for a good beer Long's Log Cabin should be your first choice. read more
