Bellamar Apartments collected my application, rent, and security deposits. I was approved and contacted by the senior community manager, Lisa Santos. She initially assigned a unit and move-in date for 5/27/2022 then she pushed it to 6/3/2022. Upon arrival on 6/03/2022, I was notified the apartment complex was now under new management and reported they have no record of receiving my application nor the money I paid. I was turned away with a Uhaul rental full of everything I own, no place to live, and no direction or help from the current property managers other than advising they would call the human resources department for guidance and that I should check back next week. Due to this extremely unprofessional negligence, I've incurred extra expenses for the Uhaul rental, food and hotel stays since 6/3/2022 and I still have no place to live. We chose Affordable Paver Sealing on the recommendation of a co-worker and based on the many good…read morereviews. Aaron and Noel were punctual and pleasant to work with while they were here. Their repairs have held up so far (3 months) and that's the only positive thing we have to say about this entire ordeal. We hired them primarily to resand our driveway and backyard pavers on a recently purchased home, as we had weeds growing through and ants burrowing up. Aaron assured us that this process would take care of those problems and that their work was guaranteed. We hired him to pressure wash, resand, reseal, and repair a few areas of pavers. We followed his instructions exactly regarding time to dry, when it was safe to walk on, and when it was safe to drive a car. We were told the joints would be "solid" after 4 hours, even against heavy rain. A short two weeks after the project was done, we were out on the patio and our feet (and the pool) were getting covered in sand. On inspecting the pavers more closely, sand had completely washed out of many of the joints and large sections were completely soft to the touch. Aaron and his partner Noel came out to assess and resanded the areas that had come loose and said we were good to go. A few weeks later, we returned from vacation to find even more sand washed out. By his own words, Aaron was "perplexed" and thought maybe humidity or weather was a contributing factor, despite being told previously that it should be "solid" despite these factors. We asked about using a vibratory compactor to get the sand deeper down into the joints (a suggestion from many professionals), which he said was not appropriate. He said that in order to remedy it, they would come out in a dry period, scrape out all the old sand, and resand the entire area. Frustrated, but wanting to work with them, we agreed. They came out and spent a mere 30 minutes at the house. There was no scraping of old sand, and while nearly the entire 5000 sq ft needed to be addressed, they only did a few small areas and left without giving us an opportunity to inspect it. Unsurprisingly, 3 months out, the entire property has joints that are not sanded properly, and in many areas are worse than before they came. We have weeds coming up through cracks everywhere, ants coming up, and a driveway and backyard that are so sandy, you have to brush your feet every time you come inside and we are having to frequently vacuum sand from the pool. We have tried multiple times to reach a resolution and have been offered a refund that amounts to a tiny fraction of the almost 7k dollars we spent to have this done. We have received quotes from other companies to come fix the sand issue and it would cost 2-3k. We have repeatedly reached out to Aaron to come to some kind of fair resolution, including basically begging him to come back out and do what he initially promised (scraping it all out and starting over). We do not expect a full refund, simply that he come fix the shoddy, incomplete job, or refund us enough to be able to pay someone else to come out if he won't. He is no longer responding to emails or calls. Do not hire affordable paver sealing. They do not stand by their work. Photos included.

South Hampton's common grounds are all beautifully landscaped. And because there is an equally stellar golf course winding through the homes in this community, you frequently find vast spaces of just beautifully manicured grass merging with blue skies. It is genuinely spectacular in some areas. There is a stunning all brick amenity center complete with a clock tower. At this location there is a large pool, children's playground, soccer field and sand volleyball court. Further up the main community road is the South Hampton Golf Club which is open to the public. This is not a gated community, but the homes here are gorgeous and the community does have a lot of wetland and mature landscaping. If you are currently on the market this is another recommendation in the St Augustine area.
