Probandt is an old warehouse and the goods are presented in a commensurate fashion, making it kind of a dump to go to. BUT it is very large and they have a lot of items. The Walzam Rd location is smaller, more store-like and a lot cleaner. Selection is similar but my impression is of smaller quantities and more limited selection. They both carry a wide range of construction and household materials, whether reclaimed from remodels or demolitions, or closeouts, seconds and scratch-and-dent. They also have a lot of paints, much of which is "evolve", a brand that keeps excess project or returned paint from being senselessly dumped in landfills. Prices are better than the building materials stores, but you still need to know what a good price is, as some of the smaller household goods can be found for less elsewhere (mainly online). But bargains are to be found if you don't mind spending time browsing. I suggest coming prepared with a complete list of what you might need, so you come away with what you really want at a price that suits you. All of that said, remember that this is a thrift store for Habitat for Humanity, a very good organization that makes affordable housing available for low income people. So anything you buy supports a great cause. I would have rated this 3-stars, but the nature of what their main focus is caused me to make it 4-stars since the dollars you spend here contributes to helping people in need.

Before I could even explain that, the sales rep pushed multiple financing options and withheld the one company I trusted due to prior/current business with them. When I asked about it, she said, "Oh yeah, they're good if you have good credit," making an unwarranted assumption about my financial situation. I was referred by a friend who had a great experience with another salesperson. When I asked to work with that same person and inquired about his availability, I got vague answers, despite the rep admitting she'd already messaged him. Due to me bringing up the military discount my friend received, she quickly said, "We don't offer military discounts." I quickly called my friend on the spot to clarify. As she over heard our conversation confirming his experience just days ago, she used air quotes for this contradicting statement. We don't offer "discounts," but only the manager can apply them, and only if I don't directly ask". This conversation initiated the text to her manager. Now whether she did or not, further displays the untrustworthy communication received. Her interaction with me was dismissive, condescending, and made me feel unwelcome. I believe the treatment was discriminatory and not in line with fair, professional business conduct. Sure, everyone has bad days but this is not a interaction any customer should receive. I will be filing this complaint to bring awareness and encourage accountability and/or training personnel better in communication. Please attempt to look at other similar businesses before considering visiting this one

She has a talent for calming fears over whether or not the compression pants will fit. They will lol ... Once you try them on, you see how well they 4-way stretch and hug every curve. The bathing suits are so pretty! I was looking for a high neck to protect my décolleté area since I'm getting a little older so I went with a one piece that was on sale, but I'd love to try a bikini from the new line soon! The coolest thing about the one piece bathing suit is that it can be turned inside out and made into a whole different suit! (See pictures... if Yelp allows) Also, the compression pants are a nice, thick, and quality stretch material. I especially love how the navy pair cinched my waistline without making me feel like I was overflowing out of the top... (if you know, you know!) My husband also liked the pocket detail on the back. I think the black are my favorite though, because they don't have a zipper so they're just really comfortable, stretch a little more than the navy pair, and can be worn with or without the belt. Removing the belt will be especially nice if I have a longer shirt that that I don't want to tuck in. I can't wait to have the chance to visit the brick and mortar boutique! The website looks great and I love the Instagram posts. It is so refreshing to see a thriving local business in San Antonio, owned by a fiercely dedicated, young entrepreneur, who is passionate about working with local models, influencers, and businesses to build her brand and honor her Brazilian heritage.
