Patterson Lift Trucks - New Forklift Delivery

WARNING: Be careful with Patterson Lift Trucks or best just stay away…read more.. Cost over $800 (prepaid) just to have my forklift looked at, then the tech said they have to tow it to the shop to fix. Estimate 3 hrs and tow cost (CC pre authorize). Bad communication- many email with Karen goes unanswered before another person take over and get the process started.. WASTED time No comm at all again after pick up and after many call they want more $$ to look further. After more $$ and no comm, I call them only to find out they cant fix it and offer to sell me a similar forklift. I refuse and offer to buy my forklift for the price of the second billing which mean I pay over $800 to give my forklift away for free. I thought going with a big company with what seem to be more experience is better even thou it cost more but in the end they are not as good as they seem to be at fixing forklift. They are just good at sucking money from client. In hind sight, insisting the CC pressurization from the beginning is a red flag and charging over $800 just to look at it and insisting to tow it back is another red flag that I should have pay attention. Now Im out over $2k wasted 2 months and no progress on the problem.

A very responsible and friendly racks and forklift vendor. You can rely on them!…read moreKhris Rahal was super professional and helpful. We had to change our plan for racks couple times, but Khris was always responsive to work with us until everything was set perfectly. Besides, great pricing too. We feel so lucky that we have found Patterson Lift Trucks.

Neff Rental - These guys are hands down the best customer service I have ever dealt with and I'm constantly renting equipment!

Hello, If I could give zero stars, I would…read more So, I signed a contract to rent a (rough terrain 4x4) RT26 scissor lift for 1 month, 3,450.00 dollars to rent on 7/20/2023. It was delivered on a Thursday morning. When we started to use the lift, it was popping and back firing from the engine and would raise up only 1 foot high. So, that same day I called the United Rental San Lorenzo for someone to come look at it, nobody returned my call. The next morning Friday, I was told by my employees that a technician came out and looked at the lift and said everything was okay with it, well it wasn't. I started to use, and it was the same thing, popping and back firing from the engine. The only thing we could do was get it to lift up on a perfectly level surface. So that day we used the lift to raise to the top of my building rooftop, to work on some repairs needed. Saturday, we came in to start power washing my building before it gets painted, the lift would not lift up anywhere tried, but 1 foot high. So, I sent my guys home and had to pay them for the day and Sunday which I had contracted them for that day of work to. Monday morning early, I stopped into United Rentals where I signed the contract and explained what was going on with the lift, I was told that they didn't have any other lifts to replace the one I had with another lift, and they would send the technician right away, again. Tuesday afternoon, I still haven't received any calls from anyone at United Rentals, so, I emailed them to come get their lift. I called around and found the same 4x4 lift at Sunbelt Rentals, San Leandro branch for 200.00 dollars less than the monthly rate at United, so they delivered the next day Wednesday, and United picked their lift up on that same Wednesday. When United closed the bill for payment, they returned me 1,752.00 dollars of the 3,450.00, leaving me to pay 1,698.00 dollars for a rental that I used only 1 full day. I called and asked why I was being charged at a daily rate, when I rented for the monthly rate and should only pay the breakdown price for the day I used. The manager and district manager could not explain and would not accommodate me with anymore refund. I emailed and asked over the phone for an invoice with a breakdown of the cost to me, but I still haven't received one 2 months later. I called the 800-customer service and explained, and nobody returned my call. Please don't bother to use this rental yard for anything, they will only disappoint and screw you over if they can. Go to Sunbelt, they didn't disappoint me, and their lift worked perfectly, no issues.
