We highly recommend Dr Long for the whole family. He's helped us all but especially our youngest son Mac who had kyphosis at a 71% since seeing Dr Long it went down to 63%! It's projected to no longer affect his life long term. This was after hearing the words "we'll see how it progresses". Take this wisdom if you have something that is a wait and see "take action with longevity chiro instead of wait and you will see". Also thankful for how Dr Long brings his faith and encouragement into the practice read more

I'm over 60 and the aches and pains go with that when I over exert myself. Lifting more than I should etc etc. I went in a couple weeks ago for my usual maintenance and mentioned an area in my back that was... painful, clicking, but felt better when I pushed on it, and he did a bit more than usual that time. It went away! I also started getting a vertigo or lightheadedness a few months ago and he dry needled me by head and neck. It went away... after 2 times, so now I'm going every other week to keep it away. Hopefully that will spread out to 3 weeks eventually. Thank you Dr. Brett read more

Dr. Long is a God-send! Long came HIGHLY recommended by our lactation specialist in Columbia. We are new parents and our child was having a hard time and we had more questions than answers. Dr. Long was gracious from response time via phone to in-office / "bedside manner" to personal follow-ups. His personal experience with chiropractic needs has fueled his drive and has produced an unparalleled doctor. He did not diagnose our child BUT he was the first to suggest we should investigate tongue-tie issues... we went to Dr. Baxter in Birmingham (best baby dentist/surgeon of all time) and our child did in fact have a tongue tie! This all came after we met with a hospital lactation specialist and a pediatrician, both did not catch tongue tie! So again, God-send of a chiropractor. We continue to take our kid and Dr. Long is so gentle and wonderful with children. Now my husband sees Dr. Long, as well. After writing this review I am wondering why the hell Mama hasn't thought to get bodywork done!?! I'm next, sheesh. I've earned it. read more

Andy is very knowledgeable and expressed that he loves what he does...He said that his work doesn't feel like work. That's when you know your care will be outstanding. Andy really focuses on soft tissue as a Chiropractic not just a bone popper. Highly recommend!! read more

HUGE fan. I cannot sing his praises enough! I first saw him while I was pregnant due to some awful hip and lower back pain. Seeing him weekly throughout my pregnancy made a world of difference. I am convinced that seeing him helped reduce my labor time too. I continued to see him for a few months after I gave birth and I know it helped a ton with my healing. He also saw our newborn a couple times and we are so grateful. I love that he does not do traditional cracking unless you request it. He's very familiar with how the body works (and is supposed to work, hah) and how to help it gently. Most recently, I sprained my ankle and after a little over a week it was still bugging me so I reached out to Brett. I saw him this morning, and my ankle is completely different! I couldn't roll it in a circle before seeing him, and now I can. I was walking with a little pain and now my ankle feels totally normal just a little sore. Go see him y'all, he's amazing!! read more

Had injured my low back playing racquetball a couple days ago and could hardly move without having intense pain. Dr. Long took the time to listen to me, did some tests and treated me all in one visit. He even showed me some stretches and exercises to help at home. He's very knowledgeable and thorough. I left feeling much better and within 2 hours I was almost 100% better. LOVE THOSE RESULTS!! Thank you, Dr. Long!! read more

I started going to Longevity Chiro & Dr. Long after a bad surfing accident. I was unable to move my neck in either direction and was suffering from severe headaches. Within two days of my accident I was able to schedule an appointment. After the first session I began to see tremendous improvements. Within two weeks I was healed back to normal. I would not have been able to make such a quick recovery without the amazing assistance of Dr. Long. read more

Just had my first adjustment with Dr Long and I'm looking forward to the next! He is so friendly, and informative about every step of the way and makes you feel very relaxed. I have been to chiropractors before that just want to scare you about your situation, and want you to come multiple times a week to get your money and I felt none of that with my appointment. I have suffered from sciatica issues as a hairstylist for years and this is the first time I felt like someone really informed me about everything going on with my body. I had an x ray, an adjustment with no cracking or popping, and muscle stimulation and it truly relaxed my body. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well, and the place smells amazing from the diffusers they have in every room. Make an appointment! read more

I have been to a few different Chiropractors over the years and generally my experiences were just ok. Some immediate relief that went away after a few hours to a day. The difference at Longevity with Dr. Long is he really listens to your issues, finds the root cause, and most importantly educates you on the WHY. Thru the education he has showed me some exercises and stretches that have instantly helped with overall tightness in the lower back. These have strengthened my muscles to allow for better posture and overall less pain. He also uses a unique method called QSM3 which sounds a bit weird but I have never felt so loose and instantly relaxed. I went to Dr. Long right before my last two rounds of golf and played two of my best rounds ever. read more

In January I went to Big Bear, fell on the ice, and did about every type of damage to my right knee you could do. While I have been seeing an orthopedist for the knee issues I have developed a severe spasm in my right IT band as it tries to overcompensate for the knee damage. I knew that Dr Long practiced the QSM3 technique of chiropractic medicine which works with connective tissue so I contacted him. He did a thorough exam, discovered my right leg was significantly shorter than the left and my weight was out of balance side to side. He treated the spasm, showed me exercises I could do to strengthen the area, and did it all with a gentle and professional manner. I would recommend Dr. Long and his QSM3 technique for somwone looking for gentle yet effective treatment for neck, back, and other pain. read more

When I was pregnant I heard from my midwife and a few friends that I had to find a Webster certified chiropractor - which is a specific method of adjusting for expecting mothers - it was seriously the most helpful thing throughout my entire pregnancy. I was experiencing sharp pain in my neck and shoulders as well as carpal tunnel in both hands, but in just a few visits all my problems seemed to go away. No matter what little problem showed up, my ankle, shoulder, jaw pain...Dr. Long always knew just what to do. I would highly recommend Dr. Long to any expecting mother, or anyone in any type of pain for that matter. read more

I started going to Dr Long when my lower back started to irritate me. I'm a lawyer and sit at a desk most of the day, so I figured sitting too much was the problem. After asking me some basic questions and examining my back, he explained, in-depth, how my muscles work, what the problem might be, and how it could be fixed. Low and behold, after a couple visits the irritation was gone and has not returned! Not only did he do the "cracking," which I've had done before, but he did this popping thing around my ears. Oddly enough, it was after THAT when I felt the most relief in my lower back....and the rest of my body actually. He explained how it worked (as he did for all of the "stretches") but it still blows my mind. Apparently it relieves all the muscles in the back. Bottom line, I plan to continue coming here because I really have felt the benefits. I've been to other chiropractors and the" cracking" stuff is cool, but I never felt a real change or benefit. Oddly enough, it's the popping thing around the ear that really helped me. I highly recommend Dr. Long, especially for professionals who sit at a desk most of the day. read more

Love this practice so much! Super clean and nice facilities and friendly staff - Dr. Long is so thorough and attentive I always feel I'm getting the best care when I am there. I also really like and appreciate that he takes a full 360 degree holistic approach to treatment and care so that you're taking care of your body from all aspects. Super convenient to have an X-ray machine in office for treatment plans as well as having a massage therapist who gives amazing massages after you get adjusted. Plus they carry a broad range of products to accompany your treatment plan if needed. Highly recommend Longevity Chiro! read more

Hurt my right hip and leg playing soccer. Got referred by a friend. Nice, clean office. Dr Long is definitely legit. Said I need 3 visits, but I feel better already! Will definitely return and recommend. read more

I've been going to Dr. Long for over a year now. I had a bunch of issues stemming from my college days playing football. Dr. Long has a perfect blend of new age techniques and with a touch of old school theories. I also get my massages here from Santa (sorry if I misspelled) but she does a fantastic job as well. Whatever my goal has been, they help me accomplish it and I honestly have never felt better. read more

Dr. Brett Long at Longevity Chiropractic has been a Godsend. I was in the middle of a five-car pileup almost three years ago and had gone to another chiropractor for two months immediately after. I ended my sessions with that doctor due to lack of improvement in my pain I had been experiencing. I noticed I began leaving the sessions in more pain than when I had left, and the pain didn't let up. This made me lose all hope in getting better. Two years later, I find Dr. Long. I've currently had about 12 or so sessions with him, and I'm noticing a drastic improvement, something I didn't think could happen since I had become so used to living in pain. I actually didn't even know how much pain I was in until he relieved me of it and I realized how I was supposed to feel. He's the only doctor I've ever trusted to adjust my neck and he gained my trust by starting out with a 'gentle adjustment'; a technique called QSM3, I had never seen used by anyone. He appears to be massaging your neck gently when in reality he's doing light adjustments. After several sessions of having him do this, I felt ready for him to go all the way with a traditional adjustment. When he did this, the floodgates opened, and all that blood just came rushing through and it released a tension so large that when I heard the intense cracking of my 32 year old virgin neck, I couldn't help but laugh from the euphoric feeling it gave me. I felt 10 years younger instantly. And he did that with such a swift, gentle, movement. He goes over stretches I can do to help me improve my daily life. After every adjustment, he puts me on either electro-stem pads with an ice or heat pack, or a massaging roller table that completes the session and sends me home to feel relaxed. The office is very clean and welcoming. There are always essential oil diffusers going which has an immediate tranquil effect as soon as you breathe it in. His shelves are stocked with all natural, organic healing creams which work wonders. In Closing, Dr. Long has shown me that he is truly there to make your quality of life better. He's a holistic healer, very personable, and definitely strives for longevity as advertised in the title of his business. I highly recommend visiting him whether you have a chronic back injury, just need a good adjustment, or any reason in between. read more

Dr. Long is the best around! I've been using chiropractic care most of my life and Dr. Long has been the best. I've been going to him the last two years regularly. I frequently get TMJ and vertigo from surfing and Dr. Long has special techniques for each of these issues that does not involve cracking or popping. He does QSM3 which is a light touch and massage type movement. He can legitimately cleared my vertigo with a couple treatments. He is also amazing with all other adjustment techniques for the neck and back. I will for sure continue to go to him and I highly recommend him to anyone. read more

Dr Long is amazing - on my first visit I walked in with a cane and the old lady hump on back. I could not stand up straight and I was in allot of pain-After treatment I left standing pretty straight the hump was gone and I didn't need my cane and pain was gone. I reacted to his treatment best way possible. I drive 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hrs to Dr Long because I know when I come out of his office I will feel better and stand taller - Stop bsing around with the ones that crack your neck - get over to Dr Long if you want to see change for the good faster. My primary Dr prescribed lidocaine patches when I told her I was going to be seeing a chiropractor- I did not need to use a patch I felt better actually and without pain that you get from typical chiropractors. Get in and try at least once you will not regret it - in fact you will wish you would of seen him sooner - read more

Going into this, I had never been to a chiro before so I didn't really know what to expect, whether it would be effective or not, or where this would take me. But after seeing Dr. Long for the first time for some lower back pain I was experiencing about 5 months ago, I have been left in awe and amazement, this is not an exaggeration. His knowledge and expertise really shows in his practice. He is professional, warm and inviting, very informative and really knows his stuff. I sit at a desk for most of the day for my job so seeing him was probably one of the best decisions I've made. I'm very in-tune with my body and how I'm feeling so any time I feel slightly off, it's noticeable to me; my back pain I originally went in for wasn't severe, but I can tell that my body is really benefiting from each visit, feeling so much better walking out than how I feel going in each appointment. He's also provided me with at-home tips I can try out myself which has been very helpful. One appointment really stood out to me; I had been experiencing a really bad pain in my neck which was affecting my skull area near my ear, went in to see him, and he knocked it out in just a short 45 min. and haven't felt ANY type of pain since. Any time I have any type of issues or pain in my back/neck, I immediately call him to set up an appointment. He's usually very open to working around your schedule, what time works best for you and can usually see you the same day you set up an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Long to anyone, even if you aren't feeling any type of pain. Cannot say enough good things about him. read more

I have been meaning to write this for sometime. I am so happy I was referred to Dr. Long. He uses new techniques that a traditional chiropractor does not always do in addition to traditional methods when needed. Most of my family has been to Dr. Long now and we are extremely grateful to have found him. read more

My wife started seeing Dr. Long several months ago after having chronic back pain for years. She had never been to a chiropractor before and was immediately impressed with the results of the treatments. After watching her progress, I decided to schedule a visit myself even though my pain wasn't nearly as bad as hers was and on top of that I had always been somewhat skeptical of chiropractic medicine. I'm very glad I went though. Dr. Long does a fantastic job providing an in depth explanation of the underlying causes of your pain and how the course of treatments and exercises address those issues. My advice to potential patients is to definitely schedule a visit before small problems mushroom into larger ones. I've since learned that there were a number of signs and symptoms that I had been ignoring or wasn't fully aware of. I had the same "sitting at a desk all day" issues that another reviewer mentioned and while I did the standard desk stretches from HR, I was also self-cracking my back and neck quite often. In the months since seeing Dr. Long I've lost all of the tension in my shoulders and have made great strides in improving my posture. He teaches you daily exercises that make a big difference throughout the day. Now I no longer have to crack my neck or back, I let Dr. Long do that when it is needed. I had gone to one of those intro sessions at one of The Joint Chiropractic franchises last year and now I realize that those crack-and-go type places are a scam because they keep you dependent on their adjustments and unlike Dr. Long, they don't teach you how to improve your health outside of their office. read more

Dr. Long is awesome! Came to his practice desperately looking for help with hip/piraformis pain before a 5K mud run. The QSM3 technique and his other therapy techniques definitely made a difference. After just a few treatments, I was able to run in the 5K very comfortably. He had given me some good advice on exercises and stretches getting ready for the run with my pain. In anticipation of major pain after the run, I had made an appt. for the day after the run, but it wasn't even necessary as I felt very little pain! Now starting rehab to target and strengthen my problem areas. He does it all! read more

Dr. Long is the absolute best. I hurt my back doing Russian twists but didn't think it was that bad. After a day of golf I could barely walk. I was referred to Dr. Long and couldn't be happier. There is nobody quite like Dr. Long. I have tried numerous practitioners and modalities over the years. I've never had an experience quite like this. He is professional, thorough, gentle and very effective. He primarily uses the QSM3 method (Quantum Spinal Mechanics) on me ;which generated immediate positive results, I could feel my muscles relaxing as he was working on me. He also uses whatever other modality is appropriate for the condition I've experienced a huge improvement in my symptoms since I began seeing him. Can't say enough positive things about Dr Long. So glad that I found him. read more

Dr. Long did wonders on my back and neck. Long story short, I broke my back snowboarding when I was 17. I had a private chiropractor for years and was honestly scared to try someone new. I moved to so cal and my parents best friend recommended Dr. Long and highly paused him (I was super nervous about the old people's recommendation). And damn, am I glad I found him. He has done this new technique called QSM3 which is different from any adjustment I have experienced before. Super gently, but I felt very loose and taller afterwards. Strongly recommend, and you MUST ask for the QSM3 adjustment. Way different than what I'm used to getting, but amazing results. No joke, I feel 100% now... read more

For the mamas who have had multiple pregnancies know what I mean when I say with each pregnancy it not only gets harder on our body, but it seems to be more painful than the last. With my second pregnancy I was always uncomfortable, in pain, and from the moment I hit that 5 month mark I felt A LOT of pressure. After my second pregnancy I started to do weekly visits with Dr Long. when I found out I was pregnant with my third son around 4-6 weeks Dr. Long advised that I continue seeing him throughout the pregnancy. I took his advice and I'm so glad I did! I saw him once to twice a week and after every visit I felt so relaxed and that says a lot when I had two toddlers running around. Out of all three pregnancies My third was without a doubt the easiest as was the delivery. I know I have to thank Dr. Long for this and I continue to see him as do my boys. read more

My husband has been raving about Dr. Long for a while due to back issues for which he's been seeing him. Only recently I had a whiplash injury that had my head feeling fuzzy for 6 or 7 days (and going). On day 6 I went to my PCP who gave me the ol' wait and see approach. Said it could take 2-3 weeks for my brain to recover. I was in to see Dr. Long the very next day (which I appreciated being seen so quickly). After a thorough evaluation and X-ray, he provided treatment. I'm not kidding that I felt 80% better by the next morning. His gentle, massage approach that did not involve "old school" cracking was amazing. The entire experience was so easy and comfortable. I went back a couple of days later for another adjustment and can say by the next day, I was back to 100%. I have my next appointment in a few days and I'm not even sure what to treat, but I'm keeping the appointment... Dr. Long mentioned to me that chiropractic care should really be primary care. This is NOT a quote because I don't remember his exact words, but my takeaway is that this type of care can intervene, heal and prevent further problems from occurring and exacerbating. That's my rave review! Thank you, Dr. Long and staff! read more

I just wanted to voice my opinion about Dr. Long and the work he does. The older I get the less I like having to drive a long distance to get to a chiropractor appointment! I found him on the internet. Dr. Long is literally 5 minutes away sooooo I thought I'd try. I am a fan and big believer in a good chiropractor. I am very thankful I made that first appointment because he is a wonderful chiropractor! The office is super pleasant but that is secondary that me. The fact that Dr. Long is very knowledgeable, (and he wants to educate me on things that I can be doing) thoughtful, and desires my good health is what is important to me. I feel "lucky"! He's real good and he's real close! And.....I am getting better. There's the proof for me. By the way, I got a massage from Santa, one of the women masseuse - best I ever had! I HIGHLY recommend Longevity Chiropractic! I have been going here for a while now for chronic neck pain and migraines. The QSM technique has worked wonders for me and is very gentle.
