I watched a video of her and have it recorded. She is a SCAM! I went thru this whole transaction and she said it would cost $19.00 to draw my soul mate. Well after that she tries to sell you something else. I clearly said NO THANKS while videoing the whole video and it shows I pressed NO THANKS, she tries to sell you another item, the 2nd thing she tries to sell you and you press no thanks, she automatically adds to your cart and I could not go any further without pressing a button agreeing to proceed. It then does not let you go anywhere until you press that button. So I wasted about 15-20 minutes of my time and she never did the drawing, has my credit card information AND CHARGED ME (which I will dispute with my bank) and will never get the photo. Unfortunately as much as I liked her TV live show over the years, I would not recommend going to one of her live shows. I have now been to 2 shows and wont go again. I I agree with others she wastes too much time at the start talking about what she does. Anyone going to this knows what she does. From the time it started until she actually starting doing readings it was 45min. People will be very disappointed if they think they have a chance of being called on. She starts out in the front row moves to the right barely going up the aisle. She did the same thing at both shows. She stayed with two people for 45min and then a man a little further up for another 25min. She stayed way to long with these people it got to the point where people in the audience seemed bored because of that. she literally stayed in one spot for most of the show and didn't do many readings. She got annoyed at a couple people, I have no idea why, it seemed inappropriate on her part. My husband and I saw Theresa at the Coinbaise theater in Red Bank yesterday June 5th 2025. To our surprise she did a reading for a lady in the crowd that my husband actually knew pretty well. Her reading was spot on. Not only does this amazing women provide healing and answers to the people she reads, but healing for all other people in the crowd. Realistically she can not read everyone. That would be impossible. Many people were spiritually lifted as well as we witnessed people heal in front of us as she provided them with the messages or closure the much needed to hear from their loved ones. Just saw her show in Columbus,Ohio and it was well worth the money. She did not stay in one area, and most def did not just stay up front!! As a matter of fact half of the show was done in the back. One lady came alone and got a reading. SO the reviews that say refund please, or whateve, they are just jaded bc their loved ones did not come through. She only has so much time, she could not possibily have time to read for everyone. I will tell you, I really wanted my loved one to come through and was disappointed he didn't, but the people that got readings needed them WAYYYYY more than I did. The "Platinum Experience" was very disappointing! The whole thing was just odd and left me feeling lost, sad and just kind of empty feeling! She basically said the same thing she does on TV. Nothing unique and it didn't seem that she was making any true connections! Just a lot of jokes and extended conversations and her acting as a therapist of some sort! People began to literally walk out and were shaking their heads! It was so disheartening! I'm a believer in God and the afterlife due to my own personal experiences in life but as far as mediums I'm not sure how I feel about them! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HER LIVE EVENTS! First let me say, I regret going to her show last night, for MANY reasons. Although this was her Platinum Experience performance, it was a tarnished experience at the very best. Theresa comes out after being announced, and marches to the small stage and after the National Anthem is played, then gives her opening 5 minute, or so speech, on how she communicates with people who have crossed over. She sets the stage, so to speak, for what she will do during her show and beings to get to work. Her demeanor is clearly work related only. She starts with a light reading, nothing too heavy and what is typically seen on her show, The Long Island Medium. It was about (for the most part) a father who had passed and he regretted not telling his adult son he was proud of him. Then, Theresa stayed for the next hour in that general same area, reading only people nearby. Certainly convenient, so she didn't have to dash across to the other side of the artificial outdoor grass laced venue in her stilettos, to read other people who had their hands up with anticipation she would acknowledge them; as they believed she was speaking about their loved ones. The remaining time she concentrated on only a cluster of people that lost loved ones to a tragedy of violence (after she finally managed to entertain walking to the other side where so many people were waiting for her to even make her way over). Our side, where we sat, was not acknowledged at all. If you read reviews from other past live shows (which I did after the fact), she basically does the same readings each time...only those laced with violence and she always stays in one area at a time. Each "reading" she did, was for at least 20 minutes, where she basically reiterated the same points over and over and tried to squeeze out more relatable information by prompting the audience member who was receiving the "reading". When she seemed unsuccessful, she continued on with the probing and then stated to the audience how hard she was working and this isn't easy. The theme of her so-called readings was SO, SO, SO depressing because she was only focused on complete tragic events. Not everyone passes from a tragedy and these loved ones are also there to find peace and closure, for their own personal reasons. I left sick to my stomach, wishing I hadn't set myself up for such an overwhelming sense of misery she gave me. It was not because people were crying, or because of their understandable anguish. It was how much she focused on only those types of readings. THEN...if you go there to think you will even get a reading, you're in for a BIG surprise. Out of a 1.5 hour show with a venue of approximately 250 people, only 8 readings were provided. And those were, as I mentioned, clustered in specific areas. Theresa Caputo ends her show with a closing statement and hurries off and out of the venue, without any sincere goodbye, or thank you. She doesn't turn to each small section and acknowledge anyone for coming and being a fan. She doesn't offer a meet and greet. After the show you just get up and leave. In closing, let me share with you that going to her live event was nothing like watching her show. That's what I wanted out of seeing this celebrity in person. I wanted some laughs and acknowledgement from her that she adores her fans as much as we adored her. That she was happy we came to see her, and she would do her best to make our time and money worth the while. Well, she didn't. Not at all. I will never watch her show again. I stopped following her on social media all together. I have been a long time fan of Teresa Caputo so my husband bought me tickets for the Atlantic City so last Saturday. I was super excited about going with my daughter and enjoying a night out. Unfortunately for what we paid I was extremely disappointed. I did not like her performance at all. Teresa seemed somewhat quick in her opening speech almost disconnected. The whole show left me questioning whether it was all an act. She seemed to blurt out random question that could fit into a lot of peoples lives. Then she would engage with that person for long periods of time. I believe there were three thousand seat sold and maybe in total she spoke to six or seven people. We saw her in Atlantic City tonight and Teresa was amazing!!!!! A few thousand people and she literally walked the ENTIRE room, in fact, most of her readings were in the middle/back. I loved everything about her show: her energy, the precision of her reads, her jokes, her presence. It was a great show and I'd absolutely see her again!!!!!! My only complaint, I wish I would've brought tissues and migraine medicine, a tear jerker from the start! We had nice seats, 2nd row, but really, even in the back would've been good! Met Theresa tonight in Spokane, WA at a live event. She was very friendly and I enjoyed meeting her. You could tell many people were lying about the reading to get attention. Still some were very genuine and really cool. After the event, I attempted to contact a staff member to let them know that someone was using Theresa's name to scam people. I had emails to show that I was solicited to receive a private in person reading with Theresa for $2500. And the scammers didn't stop there. They really tried hard to convince me that it was legit. staff didn't care and only told me that Theresa had left already. I informed them that I wasn't trying to talk to Theresa but her staff because they and Theresa should know that these people are scamming her fans. They didn't care. Super sad after my husband and I paid $400 for tickets and didn't use our meet and greet time to tell Theresa about it ourselves because we didn't feel it is appropriate. Let me start by saying I love Theresa! I think she does a lot of good for a lot of people who desperately are seeking some type of peace and closure. With that being said, unfortunately, this is the second time I've attended one of her shows and if you are not on the floor you are going to be nothing but a spectator at her shows. During our show in Rancho Mirage CA, she just acknowledged two people not on the floor whom was sitting fairly close to the the stage on the lower level. None of us expected a reading, but Theresa rarely looked past the floor level. She was totally consumed with the people on the floor. It was very disappointing. If you are considering going to a show, be aware that unless you are seated on the floor, you are going to be there just to watch. I was disappointed that Theresa did not speak to anyone in the balcony area. It would have been nice to know that no one in the balcony had a chance to be addressed. I really like the TLC show for Teresa Caputo so when my daughter and I went to see her show at Norfolk this week we were both disappointed. My daughter purchased these tickets trying to overlook the high price with the hopes that the show would have been worth it. Sadly, Teresa's show didn't even meet our expectations. She basically stayed in the front corner area for a very long time then walked around only in the front section. She wasted so much of time talking about a lady's cat that had died. I'm sure it brought the lady comfort but we have such a short window of time for the show, with an expense to us, why waste it with a reading about a cat? Move on! It seemed like she was asking really generic questions and if it didn't apply to the person she was speaking with, she would jump over to the next person. Unfortunately Theresa had a "relatively good and encouraging first read". She then walked straight to the next 3 "reads" and they were mind-blowingly accurate. - almost like rehearsed. She had details to share for the loved one (family of 3 row 6 on the left). It seemed unreal. Then after that her cold reading got worse and worse. Nobody out of 1,000 people could relate when she said "spirit" was causing her to notice a red 4 wheeler (she kept saying what are those called? I thought - do you mean ATV"s?) Someone said "My dad died in a motorcycle crash". She said - was it red? Did it have 4 wheels"? The lady said no and no, it was black. She said - I'll come back to you, but never did, then went on to cold read and people time and time again were disappointed - her favorite phrases are "I don't even know how this works", "When spirit shows me...." and "Fair enough", and "How could I have known that"?" Well....in a 2.25 hour show, she read only those seated on floor level. So no Mezzanine or above. Overall in a 2.25 hour show, (lots of people outside complaining "I didn't know I'd need to show my actual COVID card or a picture of it to be allowed in with security which delayed her start time to about 7:50 (show started at 7:30 and began with an 8 minute video about her). She maybe had 11 reads. Of those only those numbered 3, 4, 5, and 6 - 4 back-to-back seemed to be accurate and emotionally healing for those involved. After ending after 2 confused audience members disagreed were her cold reads, she frustratingly left the Columbus stage. I think her producers know who sit in the platinum seats and she prepares their stories ahead of time - but after story 5-6 her memory can't remember obituary details and social media research so she starts to LAG and I mean 100% totally show it's a cold reading disaster. Great charisma, funny at times, still entertaining. But 100% she is not actually communicating with the departed. There is a chance she truly believes she is. But unfortunately the logic and reason in all of us who left felt as though no....you do not have a special gift.....beyond being really well spoken and able to read and adjust what you say to peoples facial expressions and the like. If you like her reality show and don't mind the price, go and enjoy. If you are looking for real emotional healing, please dont find it in this show. She is not talking the departed. If she could, they would send her signs as to mysteries around who murdered them for example. Why would no departed use her to tell those of us in real life what really happened to them if they didn't receive justice for example. Just think about that and you'll realize that it all a show. The show was entertaining . She was upbeat, and I think that she genuinely gave comfort to some people. She seemed to concentrate on suicides and accidents. I also noticed that the people who paid the most for their tickets ($800 per on line) received most of the attention. When she was mistaken, she immediately stated that she was "piggy backing" - which meant that this applied to someone else in the audience. There were many people who would readily volunteer. She spent a lot of time saying things like, "How would I know that?" and "Fair enough?" to indicate indicate that she should be believed.
