I arrived early and was greeted at front desk in a friendly manner. Doing paperwork was straightforward on a tablet. I saw Dr. Brandon Naing. Lovely, he took his time talking to me and explaining things. He did not rush, which I find to be one of the most annoying things at doctors office. He was thorough and listened to my concerns. X-rays were taken immediately there, results and next steps all within 15 minutes. I was actually out of the office before my actual appointment time. Sweet deal! The waiting room was on the smaller side and clean at the Bellemore location.

copying & pasting my google review here so more people are warned…read more do not come here for bunion surgery. read that as many times as you need so you can save yourself. dr lee was my surgeon. what i thought was a confident attitude during consultations was actually carelessness. he did the bunion surgery on me over a year ago. i have been in pain ever since. i complained that the pain was not improving for MANY months. he would shrug (even saying "huh" "im confused" "i don't know what's going on" etc, verbatim) and send me off to PT, where the pain still did not go away & problems worsened. he preferred to talk to me about my personal life instead of the worsening pain i was experiencing. go figure. now, i have several complications, unable to move forward with my life, barely able to walk, my other foot developing problems from compensating, and in constant pain. i am crippled. i am in more pain now than before the surgery. i actually miss having the bunion. i'm likely looking at a revision surgery. never again at livingston though. i would give 0 stars if i could. again, whatever you do, do NOT come here for bunion surgery.

When I was a new patient the staff made sure that I received the paperwork prior to arrival so that the process was quick and easy when I got there. I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and whether they are knowledgeable due to personal experience with quack doctors that led to a previous lung collapse and a near plane death experience after failure to diagnose by not taking an X-ray, I know my fair share of bad doctors. Let's just say considering I've moved to Brooklyn and I'm still going to Long Island to see a doctor speaks a lot about my personal and professional feelings towards this doctor.

I had a 1 pm appointment with Dr. Cohen and was not put in an exam room until 3 HOURS later. While I Finally was placed in an exam room I had to wait ANOTHER HOUR to be seen. Dr Cohen did not apologize for the long wait instead he sat down and proceeded to ask me questions. When I finally got my test results two weeks later (Dr. Cohen was on vacation) Instead of the covering physician calling me to discuss my results, I was contacted by a nurse who was not knowledgable nor aware of my diagnosis. I DO NOT make it a habit on writing reviews, but my true dissatisfaction with this provider led me here.
