Really enjoyed the few days here with the Oakland Ballers in a LBC road trip! Location is beautiful. A fantastic looking lobby. Hotel was clean and in great condition inside and out. The staff was very friendly and prompt with small requests. I enjoyed the 2 nights we stayed here and would return again. My only problem was the bed. It was too soft. I like and need a firm mattress. Post said queen bed, but bed was a double in the 2 queen bed rooms. It want not that big of a deal, made it past the 2 nights without a stiff back, but would like an actual queen size bed if stated. But the other options and cleanliness made up for this. Would stay again, but hopefully firm bed mattress would be available. read more

Our friendly and attentive hotel shuttle driver, Mon, picked us up for the short drive. Once at the hotel, check-in at the front desk was a seamless and informative process. The staff was always present to greet us each time we arrived or departed. The elevators up to the room were clean and fast. The hotel hallway was brightly lit and carpet clean-looking. The room and common area furnishings were modern and well kept. We experienced absolutely no issues at all with the room. I did have some noise concerns about the room being faced towards the Long Beach Airport yet the airport noise was never problematic. May 10, 2026 Had this brunch last year and wanted it again. Cost with tax was $96. Some might think that's a bit steep and it is but for the amount and quality of food, just right. Unlimited champagne was also part of it. I was good yesterday and only had two. The food.....I had crab legs (cold & warm) with drawn butter, shrimp, cod, various fruits, ham, prime rib, breakfast items and more. This is just what I had. Service was spot-one and the decor was nice. So nice to see so many Mom's getting the royal treatment as we deserve. The Marriott does brunch right. I use Hotwire to reserve a hotel room and I was willing to spend a little extra to get a clean exclusive hotel and to pay over $150 per night. It is expensive but you do get the value of $150 gets you. Ultra clean beds and sheets you could see from the photos that I took that the room itself is very clean and I like how the hotel has a flatscreen TV and has different channels available and that you can sync your YouTube account to play Bluetooth. The customer service is impeccable and it does come with free parking, which I like. Very large parking lot so you can easily park your car and it's very well lit so I do feel comfortable leaving my car out front. The hotel does not come with complementary breakfast, but it does come with a breakfast buffet for a fee, a Starbucks brewery inside the hotel, and a Mexican style restaurant attached to the hotel. Microwave is available along with a very clean refrigerator. I really appreciate it. How clean the refrigerator was. The ice machine is upstairs. read more

I stayed July 3,2026. There was a water leak from my toilet and it smelled. The bed was sagging and not comfortable. The towels were worn. Spoke to the supervisor, who told me to call Ivan. My workplace has been utilizing the Marriott to host workplace related trainings, workshops, conferences, and even team building activities. The prices are very reasonable and competitive. Marlene Robbins, the manager of sales and catering, has been very reasonable and accommodating. She has been able to accommodate our requests from small conference rooms to large ones. She even facilitated the use of the pool area for some of our team building activities. Marlene has also been able to accommodate our meal requirements from basic coffee and breakfast refreshments to large buffet style meals. They were even able to provide lunch boxes for working lunches. Marlene is amazing and the customer service is superb. Marlene has also been able to accommodate our technology needs for the trainings and events. Comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff at the front desk. Nice shower and updated rooms. Just wish their elevators worked better. We utilized their shuttle service to & from the Long Beach Airport; our driver was super nice! There is an outdoor pool and indoor pool, and they have a nice size fitness center with a variety of equipment. We decided not to eat at Tamarindo's Restaurant because of the negative reviews. Instead we ate at this awesome street taco spot just mins away (see my other recent review). There is a coffee shop & bar inside that serves Starbucks and other cocktails. read more

I've stayed here twice in the past two years and all the accommodations and service has been stellar. There is are two restaurants (Mexican food and breakfast/lunch buffet) in the lower lobby area. The buffet is about $25 and closes at 9:30am each day for breakfast. Pretty much anything you want to order is at hand. There is also a coffee spot in the lobby next to the large Christmas tree (if it's December lol). Free shuttle service takes you to and from the LB Airport. We just got back from a 1 night stay at this hotel and it was great. Our server at the bar area Rowland was amazing. He served us in the early afternoon when we had drinks and a light snack. And made the best drinks. That same evening he served us again and was again fantastic. The following morning Yuki was our server and it was very busy being that it was Mother's Day and so many people were there for the special brunch. She was having to go back and forth to get our orders and was awesome. they have so far to go to pick up the order and delivered them and they both did their jobs amazingly. The hotel is very nice and we really enjoyed it. The only downside was the M club not being open on the weekend which we did not know about when we made the reservation. We will be back for sure, but this time maybe during the week. It is also a plus that the parking is free, something you don't see to much anymore. Stayed here for four nights and conveniently located near Long Beach Airport. Staying on the 6th floor my room faced the runway area and noise from the jet engines were hardly noticeable. Great stay and noticed the hospitality standards by the restaurant where I had lunch on one day to the team members who worked the Bonvoy Club during the morning and evenings. My major complaint was that the ice machine did not work during my stay even after reporting it on my first day. My room key would not allow me to go to another floor for security reasons but the Front Desk rekeyed my card to have access on the floor above. Microbe access is not available in the Marketplace which is a bummer if one wants to reheat something. Swim pool area was nice which I used to catch some rays on my last day. read more

The only negative thing for me is that there's no complimentary water (like other Marriott properties I've stayed at). We stayed here during the Cali Vibes Music Festival for 4 nights. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, check-in went smoothly, and they have free parking! Even though we were kind of far from the festival, we did meet and see other people that were going to the same festival. You're right next to the freeway, so you do hear the planes landing from your room. It didn't bother us though. They have a bar and a restaurant, but the restaurant doesn't open daily until 3pm which I think is a miss because we wanted to eat there for lunch before heading out each day. They do have brunch available, but we enjoyed the food more at the mexican restaurant. They knew I was celebrating my birthday so they brought us a complimentary bottle of champagne with some chocolate covered strawberries. That was so sweet of them and I am so grateful for that. We had an amazing view of the pool and the pond (which we thought was a lazy river when we booked). They do have an indoor pool was heated, but they don't have a hot tub which is also a miss. There isn't a pool bar, but you can take your drinks from the indoor bar to the pool or outside, they just put it in a plastic cup for you. It's also cool that they have a Starbucks attached to the bar so we came down every morning for some fresh coffee. We also ordered room service one day and we got the burger with fries and the Chipotle Panini with chips. Both were delicious! Their sunday brunch is a little pricey and we weren't that hungry so we didn't think it was worth it, but maybe we'll come hungry next time and enjoy their brunch buffet with bottomless mimosas! read more

Hardly ever leave reviews but had to leave one for this stay. From the moment we arrived the building looked run down compared to advertisement, the inside at check in, the hall ways and elevators all felt dirty and stuffy no air ventilation and mainly the room itself?! Horrible! Smell like a strong stench of smoke or mold that tried to be covered up. Didn't even sleep through the night, AC weak didn't help and sinks, shower, windows and counter so dirty. Still waiting on response from Marriott for compensation because this was ridiculous to pay when such issues and not even having reservation on hand right away. Major damper for a Wedding Party on. A wedding day. Never again. Please advise and send to the correct level to receive any compensation. Disappointed for Marriott at this location. Usually very nice this one was not at all. Pretty quiet for being next to airport.We stayed in room 703 on 7th floor and slept great except last night.A couple in room next to us decided got into a loud argument with screaming,swearing around midnight. I was going to call front desk in case it was going to escalate (and sounded like it would) but I whacked the wall next to them and it shut them up. Friendly hotel staff,room clean we enjoyed watching planes land while drinking our wine. Another great Marriott property! I have stayed in many Marriotts and although they all maintain a certain level of service, the Long Beach Marriott takes that a step further. The staff is friendly and inviting. The team in the M-club is very helpful, warm, and friendly. Always greeting you when you come in and making you feel welcome. I think management has a problem! A Caucasian family brought in chick fil a and were eating it peacefully at a table yet my family brought in pizza and we were asked to remove it from the area. "Per management, it is not allowed". The gentleman had passed several times and said nothing all of a sudden we need to remove it from the area. Why wasn't the other family asked to do the same!? Very big rooms. I booked a 1 bedroom and it was very spacious. Lots of room all around and even the bathrooms were huge. A room for the shower and a room for the sink. Nice sized TV, clean, and lots of free parking for guests. Which is lovely! The pool closes at 10p which is standard but of course I'd love it to be 11p. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I think it's time for a little remodeling and when I tried calling for room service at 11p they were only doing salads. (I just wanted French fries and maybe chicken tenders) read more

We loved our stay at the Long Beach Marriott! Absolutely loved the Long Beach Marriott, it will definitely be our new base for our twice a year CA trips. Nice size room overlooking the airport runway. 5th floor but no noticeable noise at night which I was fearful about. Loved the floors in the room as we hate carpet. Room was very clean. We declined housekeeping but they were responsive when we asked for daily towels. Breakfast was free for two since I'm titanium elite. It was minimal and not much gluten free for my celiac kid but enough to get us through to our next meal. I gave them feedback on that at checkout as that's a simple fix and many Marriotts have more options even if it's a simple box of cheerios. Parking was free, plentiful and the hotel was in a great location to get around. No resort fee. Pool looked nice but we didn't feel like going in. Gym was open 24/7 with plenty of equipment. No issues with getting a feather free room which is usually a delay for us. Overall property was clean, staff was friendly and we will absolutely stay here again and recommend without hesitation. read more

We were here for the weekend to have my mothers wedding. We got Two rooms and one suite . We had the wedding reception in the pool area and had one of the ballrooms. They gave us a room to decorate in all day Saturday and to store stuff in on Sunday. The front desk was so accommodating to all of us. Thank you, Audrey and everybody else ! The price is on par for Marriott, on the high side, but if you have status, worth it. The service has been consistently great. Very nice people whom recognize your Bonvoy status. Don't let the other reviews scare you off, I almost did and I'm glad I risked it for the biscuit... My daughters and I stayed for one night for a competition at the college. We earlier than the check in time but Justin at the front desk is a freaking rockstar! We was able to get us into a room instead of waiting with a little one in tow. He not only was very helpful but so kind. Exactly what you need after hours of traveling. Our room was way better than anticipated. As a mom with kiddos with medical issues I loved there wasn't any nasty carpet in the rooms. Housekeeping even greeted us on our way in. They did an outstanding job cleaning our room before arrival. For the hotel being RIGHT next to the airport, noise wasn't an issue at all. We could watch the airplanes take off and there wasn't any vibrations or distracting noise from the planes. The location is ideal. Close to the airport, close to the freeway and a short drive to lots of food spots... even a Target! Yes you heard me right. They do have two pool which were nicely kept up when we used the facilities. Overall this property is great when you're in town and looking for a place to rest your head. read more

Absolutely disturbed. I went for a friend's birthday to celebrate and the hotel hosted with a 3-Course dinner. The first dish was a salad and after already eating half my salad, an insect crawled out from the bottom of the plate. This was a complete buzz-kill, as I went to the restroom to vomit. Then upon return, they refilled my cup and found a dead ant in the water. You can't make this stuff up. Please do NOT go to this hotel for the lack of health regulation and poor management! read more

Had a very nice visit here for a local event. Rooms are spacious and clean. Decent gym with treadmills, free weights, and machines. Could use a Concept2 rower, but still a nice gym. Indoor and outdoor pool, along with some nice water features. Excellent breakfast buffet each morning. Great way to start the day. Easy parking. Also, the front desk staff was so helpful with a late checkout that we had requested which really made our last day a lot easier. Greatly appreciated. read more
