Dr. Bankhead treated my husband for 13 years and me for the same period of time. He passed away in…read more2013. He loved her and trusted her. She is known for referring people to the best provider and was criticized once for doing so. She does care very much about her patients, but she also knows her limitations as a primary care provider. Kristina F, the nurse, had a very different experience with Dr. Bankhead and her office I am sorry to say. I greatly appreciated her when me and my husband went to her. Everyone has their own opinion, but I found it important to give mine. I have never rated a doctor before, but wanted to make sure this was provided for those considering Dr. B.

I am a nurse so it pains me to write this review. But Dr. Bankhead's office and Dr. Bankhead could…read morereally give two licks about their patients! It's frightening how little they care. My father tested positive for Covid and has multiple comormidities. We found a location for him to get monoclonal antibodies and all he needed was a a referral from his doctor. After multiple calls to the office they kept telling us we needed to wait. If you understand the situation you are aware that it is time dependent. Not only was the office staff rude but they kept putting us off. It evidently wasn't a priority for their office or the doctor. Never mind that the infusion could be life-saving. In the end the doctor chose not to write a referral even though my father has multiple comorbidities Because the clinic infusing the medication was out of network and it would be inconvenient for her to have to do all of the work for an out of network referral...and then left the office for a holiday weekend. No concern whatsoever about my father! I honestly think that this doctor and her office staff could care less if my father died. It's disgusting and I would not send anybody including my dog to this office! (The final young lady that I talk to you on the phone I'm sorry I don't remember her name, she was not a nurse, and she was very kind. She gave me multiple ideas of other doctors and other clinics that might actually treat my father. Effing amazing that the doctors office is referring me out to other places because the doctor won't do her job)
