Everyone from the city that we worked with in the planning and logistics of how to marry our event to the facility was wonderful to work with and their experience helped us feel confident before, during, and after the convention. Seriously, we could not have been happier. Our event had approximately 8000 attendees in the two days we held it. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the temperature in the main event hall and the side meeting rooms perfect. The parking worked well too with plenty of overflow lots to handle everything and everyone even during our busiest times.

The Texas Legislature officially named Denton as the Halloween capital of Texas…read more I stumbled across the Haunted Maze on social media and decided to experience it for myself. According to the Denton Halloween website, "For the entire month of October, wander through the free haunted maze and uncover the secrets of the mad scientist. This interactive experience, built by a local artist, is full of surprises." The maze was located on the lawn between City Hall and the Denton Civic Center. It doesn't have a specific Yelp page, so I'm posting it on here. A signed waiver was required before entering the premises. We visited on a weekday (October 2025) and didn't have to wait long in line. It was a short, fun experience (not that scary) that even kids would enjoy. There were 2 porta potties on site. However, they stank!

The Amon Carter Center is fantastic! We used it for a social hour after our wedding where we…read moreserved snacks and met with guests. We served around 100 guests and used all three conference rooms for our event. There were enough tables and space for people to walk around comfortably and stop when they felt like talking. The entire center is clean, there are several bathrooms for guests, and lots of outside area for walking and talking. Diana was amazing! She was always on top of things and worked with us during all our schedule changes. She had several pitchers of tea on hand, as well as coffee, for our guests when we discovered that our catering tea had burst and spilled. She also stayed with us when our event was over to help us pack and clean the area. The center was great for our wedding social hour, and I think it would be great for small business to host conferences and workshops. The center has a relaxed, thoughtful feel that puts you in an industrious frame of mind.

The gym is a decent size with a good amount of equipment. The bar and restaurant have good options if you need anything to eat or drink. I would definitely stay at this property again!

Really just perfect and highly recommended. We will stay here every time we come back.

We didn't get outside because it was cold but it looked like it could be fun in the late spring or late fall! Easily there were about 25-30 women there and it felt spacious with room for more. We will definitely consider this place for future events! Also- we brought in food and drink. Vs bartending and catering services but just saw they have that available too!

The venue is small yet warm and inviting. The backyard is a decent size. They have a restroom, kitchen and an upstairs at the venue. The appetizers and desserts were yummy and I enjoyed the live music. Being able to hear one of the volunteers who used to be in the foster care system share her story of overcoming adversity was inspiring. I look forward to attending another event at this venue in the future.

Ok this place is different. It was my first time coming and I enjoyed it. We came for my husbands…read moregoing away lunch with his team. The server we had was very attentive considering it was only him helping us and we were a group of maybe 15 people. The area is very open. They had indoor and outdoor courts. They had a playground for kids too which I found was pretty cool. I saw a big battleship, connect four and corn hole. Probably a few more I didn't see. They reserved an indoor court. Everyone had fun. Ok now for food ... I ordered the chipotle chicken bowl with a country margarita. (Can't remember the exact name). Margarita was good. Had that pina colada taste to it. And it wasn't too strong. The chicken was ok in my opinion. It had pickled coleslaw. And it was a 10/10 for me on that. The chicken was like chipotle with that tomato taste to it. So I was getting more tomatoes than chipotle. So I might consider something else. My husband ordered the skirt steak and he loves it. Came with a tortilla too and honestly they are good! There was like 15 of us so I wasn't going to go around invading peoples food lol but I did try the fried pickles and I enjoyed them. Then one of the guys had a pizza with fries and also said it was good. We only had one person who didn't like his food. He ordered half a bird I think but he was very skeptical of it being way too pink. And felt he might get sick if he ate it all because he thought it could have been undercooked. So that was that. Overall we enjoyed our time. We will consider coming back with our kids, since we see kids eat for free for a limited time.

Roxy was incredibly easy to work with and answered any and all questions we had throughout our planning process. We were able to visit the venue twice and speak with Roxy about their list of add-ons (the dessert cart being one of them). The venue is rustic and has everything you need including a kitchen, private room, and beautiful backyard with a wooden arbor! Everything ran exceptionally smoothly the day of the event, as an on-site coordinator was available to assist us. She was even generous enough to help us cut the cake towards the end of the shower! Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and can't wait to host another event at this venue in the future!
