There were certainly some rough times in high school for me at home, but I knew I had teachers here who cared about me and were there to support me when my family was struggling with my mother's illness. I remember him teaching English and being a cool class adviser when I was President in sophomore year. Place helped shape who I am, so of course I have fond memories here. I remember this school being pretty good in passing the AP exams and being top dog in baseball. I also remember being tricked about the Q hall and the dead prom queen and the pool under D hall. I remember also about my friend seeing the ghost in M hall, the woman who died after giving birth in the bathroom. Too many dumb things I remember from high school and it puts a smile on my lips.

Don't know much about the school but what I can say is any school rocks!!!!…read more My moms was a teacher, I had my share of teaching, my brother is a teacher and his wife works at a school, and my sister is a teachers aide ... so I got mad respect for all educators and those in this field!!!! The swimming area was small but very nicely arranged. The kids had a good time as well as the spectators!!!! It was a fun event!!!! The Porterville staffs and parents out there were very friendly. All of the kids were nice too. They even had a police officer out there watching the kidos and ensuring safety. It was very fun to hang out at this boys and girls waterpolo event.
