Trail is great for strolling/jogging/cycling as it's pretty wide and well-maintained. ADA-friendly too as there are no significant inclines/declines at all on the path (I saw a few people here using a cane or a walker). There is partial shading on the trail so it's best to go during morning hours. Now, to get an actual view of the creek you have to divert from the paved trail to reach a narrow dirt one. Not too hard to find the trail especially since it's pretty much right up against the creek (use your map phone app for reference). I visited the park on a weekday morning and I'd say 1/3 of the parking lot was full at the time (I can imagine the lot being filled much more quickly on weekends). No parking fee.

The park is wide open and well-kept, with tons of space for kids to run around while the adults relax and debate whether to get tacos or go straight for dessert. (Spoiler: it's both.) The vibe is incredibly family-friendly--blankets, lawn chairs, chalk art, all of it. There's usually a solid mix of food trucks during the spring and summer months, and even when it's busy, it never feels overcrowded. We come here regularly, and that's a big part of why. No chaos, no drama--just good food, space to breathe, and enough room for kids to burn off 94% of their sugar high before bedtime. Strong strategy, honestly. On top of that, they also host movie nights in the park, which are basically the perfect way to end a warm evening. It's small-town magic in the best way possible: families on blankets, lawn chairs everywhere, popcorn, blankets, glow sticks--it's the kind of evening that quietly restores your faith in humanity. The workout equipment is very fun for kids and adult to play together. Then they also have a playground that kids can switch around. When u walk to the other side of the playground they have zip lining! It's super fun, The only down side is there is lots of poop, probably from people walking their dog and didn't clean up after. So make sure watch your step! Wish they can help keep the park clean. This is a very fun park ! Will be back if in the area. This is definitely hidden gem.
