It's a really nice, spacious park for kids, with lots of different play structures, slides, climbing areas, and plenty of room to run around and play. So it's actually a great option to spend the day -- go swimming first and then let the kids play at the park. You can also reserve a picnic area in advance for a birthday party or another celebration. There's a covered area with tables, BBQ grills, and even electricity -- the outlet is turned on for the duration of your reservation. The area can accommodate up to 50 people, so there's plenty of space for a kids' party. I really love this setup: a pool + a big park + a place to have a party all in one location. It's super convenient, especially when you want to make a full day out of it instead of spending just a couple of hours at the pool.

We've come here several times during the spring and summer for their weekly food truck nights, and it's become a highlight of the week. The park is wide open and well-kept, with tons of space for kids to run around while the adults relax and debate whether to get tacos or go straight for dessert. (Spoiler: it's both.) The vibe is incredibly family-friendly--blankets, lawn chairs, chalk art, all of it. There's usually a solid mix of food trucks during the spring and summer months, and even when it's busy, it never feels overcrowded. We come here regularly, and that's a big part of why. No chaos, no drama--just good food, space to breathe, and enough room for kids to burn off 94% of their sugar high before bedtime. Strong strategy, honestly. On top of that, they also host movie nights in the park, which are basically the perfect way to end a warm evening. It's small-town magic in the best way possible: families on blankets, lawn chairs everywhere, popcorn, blankets, glow sticks--it's the kind of evening that quietly restores your faith in humanity. Five stars for giving families a reason to come together, eat too much, and call it a night well spent.

After a full ass day and a full ass afternoon in the kitchen cooking, I was ready to walk some of my calories off so I suggested that we take the kids to a nearby park. This is a very short walk from my friend's (they live behind WinCo) and we relaxed and talked for a bit before it was time to head back. I noticed a lot of parents let their kids run amuck w/o much consideration to their surroundings which irritates me to the very core. A kid had an accident on the playground therefore the kiddos left the area yet that kid's parent or guardian was nowhere to be found. A few picnic tables but beware - no shade whatsoever. Be smart, regardless of time, put sunscreen on yourself and the kids to protect their skin and always have water readily available. I did not see a public water fountain but then again, even if there was one, I wouldn't use it nor want my kids to use it either.
