(I have received so many compliments on the tote bag since returning home!) They were reasonably priced and perfect for what I wanted. The cashier was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The store was a little crowded but pleasantly displayed and decorated.

I have brought a pair of earrings and a bag from there about 1 year ago, and they still look new. The shop is small and the design contemporary, and looks like it should be in Milan. The staff are friendly and always on hand. They sell shirts, skirts, coats, and jewellery. People in Uxbridge usually go there to shop for gifts or if they are looking for an item for a special occasion. Everybody in Uxbridge will vouch for how good this shop is. It's on a different level then any other shop in Uxbridge.

It seems to me to get less attention than many of their other locations, but that's part of what I like about it. For those from the U.S. or who may not know, Whistles is like a cross between Madewell/J.Crew (but pricier) and Club Monaco, but the shops feel smaller and more like a boutique. There's also a wide age range, both in terms of customers and those working here. When I last came in, there was a young man, older woman and a middle-aged man all working. The clothes at full-price are really expensive, and nothing I'd get at the price, but the sales are where it's at! They're surprisingly great for the quality, and I've been really lucky at this location, which seems to have more options available. I stopped in a few times when I lived in the neighborhood years ago (thanks to a study abroad program...I mean, it's pricey in this area!), and the couple of items I picked up on sale - a red dress and a fitted sweatshirt - have lasted me over five years now. The fabric and cut of the top is still in great shape. I got the dress at a greatly reduced price because some of the seaming was coming off, but after a bit of stitching, it has held together pretty well over the years and I've gotten compliments on it when I've worn it to theater shows or dressy events/nights out. (I've since retired it into the closet, but really, there's always the urge to take it back out, haha.) The fabrics are gorgeous and sturdy and the cuts are hard to beat. I think it's actually hard to find something that wouldn't be flattering for you here! On my last visit to London, I got a romper/jumpsuit on sale - the only piece of clothing I purchased during the entire trip. The service here is also really pleasant, polite and even helpful. If there's anything you see that doesn't quite fit, they will go out of their way to try to find the right size.

It may have gone up in price since we were there. Once activated, it was good for 24 hours (if I remember right). The price was better than paying for the London Pass online! Maybe it was cheaper because we were in London during the Non-peak time so there was much less crowds and tourists? The Traders Gate shop also sells a myriad of London souvenirs. Did not get a chance to really browse the place because we were focused on purchasing London Passes for the various tourist attractions. The shop was packed with stuff though. We would definitely return here. Service was very helpful and the London Pass prices were terrific.

It stocks unusual cards, gifts, jewellery, handbags, paintings, candles and so much more. It's a great place to find something unusual and is particularly good for gifts for new babies. There are so many beautiful things here I often end up wanting one of everything. Some of the stock is reasonably expensive, but there really is something for everyone. Plus if you're buying something as a gift they will gift wrap it for you too free of charge. A real treasure!
