Not worth your business I came across this website and like the flowers and ordered a 100pound order for a loved ones's special day. Not only did they changed the design Willy nilly, cancelled the vase last minute, the bouquet looked miserable ( having tulips, eucalyptus, yellow roses and lemon flowers replaced by sunflowers) but when followed up, their customer service responds that it is all in their T&C without any apology what so ever. not worth your money or business- there are many other ms business that deserve your money, but they ain't one of them. This was false representation (See photos of what was advertised and what we got instead). We ordered from Canada for someone in London. We chose the Grand size. We felt so embarrassed for our recipient. The store ended up refunding us 50% after writing them an email and posting a review on their website. However, upon receiving our order, they should have sent us a heads-up email or called us to explain they didn't have the flowers required to fulfill the order which would have given us the option of choosing another arrangement or cancel. Sadly, we cannot recommend this florist. read more

So disappointed!!! This was the worst flower arrangement I have ever sent anyone - and it was for such an important occasion. What I ordered on their website was NOT what was received. (See pictures) I ordered a bouquet online for my sister who had just had a baby. I ordered the 'pretty and delicate' which, according to the description and picture in their website, is supposed to include 'pale Vendella roses, pretty pink Ranuncula, and beautifully scented Paper White Narcissus'. The bouquet didn't have any of these! The bouquet has plain roses and no Ranuncula or Paper White or Narcissus. In fact, there was nothing beautifully scented in the arrangement at all, even the roses didn't smell nice! And the bouquet was terribly small, no where near what I should have received for paying 50 pounds. Overall, I am very unhappy with the flowers that were sent to my sister. What is shown on their website and what is actually sent are not the same. I feel deceived and taken advantage of. Buyer beware! read more

For innocent reasons, I had to make a last minute order (at about 13:45) for same-day delivery for my wedding anniversary. I ordered flowers out of season, so I was promptly called and made aware of this. They offered to replace with flowers in season, and they could arrange something comparable and in the 'spirit' of my order (i.e. tall, tasteful, classy, yet modern) to which I agreed. In a very good way, it was not your cliche, typical gift-to-a-woman arrangement, and very well received. Update on previous review the order for flowers were delivered a week late and delivered to house number but not to actual flat..so intended gift of xmas flowers/ welcome home from hospital gift arrived a week late and looking shrivelled. Company was shut over xmas and new year and didn't have a message system set up. I did receive a refund..but i had to cancel my credit card during the wait.so no flowers and has to wait for new bank card for a week. So yes company exists and responds to my complaint eventually. My advice dont accept orders you cant fulfill, set up a answermachine for holidays and deliver to the address and person specified. The Flower Yard is one of my favourite places to get flowers, not only because they have a great selection of flowers but also, because they are just the nicest people to get flowers from. And the prices, given the location are really really good. I bought a birthday bouquet for a friend for under £20, with huge Chrysanthemum blooms as well as some foliage and I've bought less elaborate arrangements at other florists for a lot more! The staff are really polite and if you ask for help, they give their opinion as to what might go together and they're open quite late as well, so handy if you need to buy some flowers in time for a dinner party as I did! The flowers are always nice, they don't look like they've been languishing for days, and you can buy things like thistle and artichoke flowers, which make a nice change from plain roses. read more

This florist has an amazing website but don't be fooled. They do not deliver on what they advertise. When I emailed to communicate my dissatisfaction with the arrangement that was delivered I was told non of what was in the bouquet I ordered was in season. My response to that is...don't advertise seasonal bouquets out of season, call the customer to inform them non of the flowers they paid for are in stock. Anything at all to assure the customer has paid for an arrangement they will feel satisfied with. read more

Totally not what I ordered. Flowers of different type and frankly awfully disappointing, and I was told it was the simply the bigger option in the picture on the website. So I was made to feel like a cheapskate in reply to my complaint to the flowers being not remotely what I ordered. When I ordered I assumed it was a smaller bouquet than website advert of a larger version, but that it would be of remotely related flowers that looked something like the website advert, especially as it was still expensive in the smaller version. I complained and I was told it was a seasonal flower thing. Don't use this company - I did and I should have read the reviews on Google first! Ordered flowers around 11am for delivery same day in the morning (deadline was 4pm) and paid extra for that as well. Everything looked good. Confirmation mail said within same day as well. Flowers didn't arrive within that same day and there was no information from them at all. Flowers didn't arrive the day after as well and now 3 days later I still haven't heard anything. I've tried calling a few times without any luck and mailed them twice but they're not replying. They were very quick at charging the money though to my credit card. I'm now struggling with getting it reversed. I wouldn't recommend this company to even my worst enemy. Awful customer service. The flowers arrived 4 hours after the time they promised. The bouquet we eventually received was not the correct bouquet and was a lot smaller than the 'grand' bouquet we paid £70 for. So embarrassed and upset by the gift I gave because of the Flower Yard. I ordered a modest hand bouquet online from the Flower Yard website. I am based abroad but the delivery is to an address in SW10. It took me a few attempts to get the order right and some details were lost when I finally got the order and payment through. Robert emailed me shortly after to say that the delivery date was left out and I replied. Not long after, he emailed me again to say that perhaps my message to my wife might have also been left out. Talk about great service for such a small order! Hopefully this helps anyone out there looking for a florist in the area. read more
