The 2 female attendants did nothing but joke and laugh the whole trip. If you ever need an ambulance try and get LaGrange Fire Dept. They are awesome.

My…read morewife and I had our celebration this past weekend and we couldn't of been more happy with our experience at the venue. Sue is the social hall director and was great by all aspects. She thoroughly explained our rental agreement/payment plan (made sure we had copies of everything), was quick to answer our text messages when we had questions, provided us with all of the necessary supplemental documentation for our liquor license, and helped reassure us to not stress when we had issues with emptying out the hall the following day. She even went as far to come out the night of our event to coach our cleanup crew, making sure they did everything correctly after we left the reception. Highly recommend!

The PV Fire District holds a fundraiser event on Sundays, which has been going on for many years,…read moreand has them a couple of times a year. I was happy to attend it for the first time, with a small fee upon entering which all depends on the age, etc. The offerings include Pancakes (plain & blueberry), French Toast, Sausage, Bacon, Coffee, Tea, Chocolate Milk, and Orange Juice. I opted for the plain pancake, which sure was tasty, and sausage and bacon for the sides. Should have gone for the French Toast, which sadly didn't catch my eyes - oh well... always next time. Several volunteers are serving, and providing food, and drinks, including refills, and more food for request. Simply raising your hand will get their attention. The event runs from 7 - 10:30 am, and there is no limit on how much food you want and the amount of time spent. Plenty of tables are provided. Eat, and make connections here. Also, most importantly, I thank the PV Fire Department for all they do.

We were allowed full access of the dining quarters including the use of their kitchen, table and chairs.The family put out a spread of baked ziti, Italian dressing marinated chicken cutlets over white rice, antipasto, garden salad, string beans with sausage and peppers. For dessert we had a chocolate vanilla cake and sugar cookies. The beverages consisted of Merlot, Chardonnay, various soft drinks, ice tea, green tea, and peach tea.
