What I enjoyed most was the aesthetic of the building..it's a historic Opelousas bank turned coffee shop, and I was amazed! To top it off, the super friendly barista graciously gave me a bit of history about the bank and area! I definitely recommend for visitors and locals alike!

After my dining guest and I were seated, it took more than 30 minutes for us to even receive our food after placing our order. During this time, our waitress did NOT advise us the reason for the delay. I ordered the fried shrimp, fries, and hushpuppies. The food was OK; I've had much better. However, my friend had the grilled chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and peas and carrots. The chicken was EXTREMELY dry and the peas and carrots looked as though they'd been reheated or had come out of a can; both vegetables were both very dull in color. The only thing my friend ate were the mashed potatoes which were mediocre at best. Because of the aforementioned with my friend, the manager did remove the cost of her meal from the ticket. We also had raspberry lemonade and it was more like PINK lemonade. The customer service is severely lacking as well as the quality and appearance of their food and beverages. Please get it together!
