Lolo Creek Distillery is a great place to grab a craft cocktail or two before heading down to the steakhouse for dinner. The veranda offers a nice view of view of the valley and there are plenty of tables outside. The distillery produces everything from whiskey and rye to vodka and gin. You can purchase bottles and swag to go. However, be mindful though that it's a tasting room that doesn't have a liquor license and you are limited to two drinks that have a 1oz pour. You receive a card and the bartender checks off your order. After two drinks, that's it and you can't purchase a third. The cocktails are tasty and the staff friendly and accommodating. They offer tours of the production facility for a reasonable price. Definitely check this place out. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere, staff and drinks are all my favorite! They have indoor and outdoor seating which is a lovely place to be with friends having drinks while the kids play corn hole or on the grass. We came here almost every evening during our stay in Montana. Rachel and the rest of the staff were friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Lookin for a place to get a drink with some beautiful Montana views..inside and outside? Then this is your place! Lolo Creek is one of the newest distilleries and it has rustic decor along with awesome history included throughout. The drinks were very tasty and they have a wide variety to choose from. The staff was really friendly and helpful. If it's a nice day out they have a patio with spectacular views and even if it's chilly they have fire pits to keep you warm. If you're lookin for a new place to try, I would suggest gettin a drink or two here!:) read more

I ordered the "fort fizz" a raspberry Moscow mule. The service was great, and the atmosphere was Montana rustic. If you're going to go have a steak at lolo steakhouse , this is a great place to stop and have a drink before. The only thing that was negative was you have to finish your drink before 8pm or they take it from you. read more

My wife and I visited for the first time yesterday and loved it. When we arrived the only available seating was a table for 6, but the hostess made it work. I've rarely seen a waitress work as hard, or as well, as the lone waitress working when we were there. Both she and the bartender were able to keep up with a full house on their own. The drinks and charcuterie board were both fantastic. Great looking place! I can't wait to visit in the summer time and try out the patio. read more

Best G&T! Great service, great atmosphere! I just wish there was a better system with Lolo Steak House so we didn't have to rush when the golf cart came to get us a little too early! Tried the same G&T at the steak house and it was NOTHING like the distillery. Definitely do cocktails at the distillery and get their charcuterie board as appetizers before your steak. The huckleberry mules are Excellent. The ambiance, indoor/outdoor setting with the perfect views of the mountains.

The place is pretty cool. Staff were super curtious and quick. The drinks are fancy. But if you read the fine print you're only allowed 2 oz's a day at this distillery. A normal shot is 1.5 ounces. So off a regular 750 milliliter bottle they're making close to 200 dollars. That is insane. Montana laws dont say rob the consumer. Or you could pay the 28 dollars and save. Just buying 4 drinks for 2 people is more expensive than a bottle. Cant say we will be back soon with a mark up like that. read more

Loved this place, visited while waiting for steak house to open after working all day, it was awesome!!! What a beautiful place, unfortunately we walked in Friday night July 26 at 6:oo pm to sit on patio and have a taste test. We were going to buy a bottle of vodka and gin after testing their drinks. Unfortunately after being ignored for 24 minutes we were left to walking out the same beautiful room and on to the Lolo Creek brewery to enjoy some food and some great beers. I gotta say I'm not easily impressed but this place impressed me. I love the signature cocktails and choices. To top it off Jason is friendly and entertaining. I would suggest making an evening out if it. Have a couple of cocktails, they will call the Steakhouse to get you a table. The little shuttle will take you down where you can enjoy the best steak dinner in Montana and a nice bottle of wine. I love the tenderloin myself. Oh boy...where to begin. Well, I came to the distillery at 7:15, ordered a drink and it was lovely. Then at 7:50 they came out and said "last call!" so I ordered one more drink. Five minutes after the drink was brought out the waitress came out and said "I'm sorry, it's 8 o'clock now, we have to take your drink from you". What???????????? I've been to a lot of distillery's and breweries in Montana and never EVER have I had a waitress take my drink out of my hand and then charge me for it!!!!! This is a new distillery so perhaps they are unclear of the rules but the fact that the waitress never one time said to me "last call---and by the way you can't drink past 8" is ridiculous. I had no warning, no idea, nothing. Why even have last call at 7:50 If you're going to rip the unfinished drink out of my hand in five minutes (because it took five minutes to bring it to me). I paid 7 dollars to drink two sips and then sloppishly try and chug my expensive gin cocktail while she took it away from me. Never have I ever had this happen to me. This is not the rule I've lived in Montana my entire life and have since talked to all of my friends--no one has ever had this happen to them. The rule is you can't SERVE past 8, but you can damn well finish the drink you paid for until 9pm. What if I went to a restaurant and ordered pasta and then ten minutes later they came and said "sorry it's closing time--give me your pasta back, and here's your bill". Absolutely unacceptable in either case. I think the bartender either doesn't understand the rules or was feeling eager to get out of the bar that night for personal reasons--either way not ok!!! Can not believe I wasn't comped. They needed to insist I was comped no matter what. The waitress came out and said "oh the manager feels bad your upset...but here's your full price bill!" Will never go back and will tell all of my friends of this ridiculousness. read more
