I was just getting online to double check the hours and was surprised by a few poor reviews. I LOVE Loli & the Bean. This is one of my absolute favorite places to go to grab a gift or find something new to wear. There is a cute little baby/toddler section, too. It is always beautiful and smells so good in this shop! I Just moved to Tally and have already been here 3 times. Immediately received greetings and assistance from the staff and found gifts I was looking for. Also had something monogrammed there, and and they were very patient while I was picking colors and fonts and they kindly made helpful suggestions - turned out beautiful! read more

Loli & the Bean seems to be a pretty popular little boutique here in Tallahassee. The location is good, next to a well-loved coffee shop and the Fresh Market, and their store is pretty and has a nice layout. The staff seem friendly and I like that they have a gift-wrapping service. My sisters love this place and get a lot of monogrammed glasses from here. I'm not so blown away, to be honest. A lot of merchandise is nice, but insanely overpriced. I was putting together a little candle kit for a friend, and a small glass container of matches was 16 dollars, if I recall correctly. The same goes for the clothes they sell - they're cute, but overpriced for the quality. The checkout system at Loli is also extremely outdated and slow - the cashiers just write up your items and enter them into huge, clunky calculators, resulting in long lines and wait times. read more

My favorite place to shop in Tallahassee! They have the cutest clothes - probably half of my weekend closet is Loli - and the best gifts. i just bought a gift for my future father in law for his birthday, my best friend for her graduation, a family friend who is retiring, and my teacher for a great semester.... all in one trip! They have the cutest wrapping which makes it so easy to go in, buy, and get to the party. They also monogram just about anything and take the time to make sure it is exactly how you want your product to look like. Jennifer always helps me and makes my shopping experience so great- she always has the best suggestions and always helps me with a smile. They have a great staff and i always notice that on the weekend they have extra hands on deck when needed. What a bunch of crap this store sells and WAY overpriced. It's true the staff is unhelpful and rude. And what's up with their "no return policy?" There is 1 SMALL 5'x7" card located at one register which explains their policy. If I'd seen it, I wouldn't have purchased a GD thing. If I buy something, don't open it, and return it the same as I bought it within 24 hours, I should get a refund. Avoid this rip-off at all costs. read more

I come to Loli about once a year when my mother-in-law gets me a gift card. They are a great spot to find cute gifts, Tallahassee specific items, and boutique clothes. They have a lot of items that you can personalize for free! The staff is super friendly and genuinely helpful. I guess I have a difficult time finding things here sometimes because it's a little above my typical budget. Definitely a fun place to browse. Tip I discovered on my most recent visit: on Thursday and Fridays before home football games, they have free cupcakes and champagne to "tailgate!" So cute. read more

I wasn't too impressed the very first time I visited this store before my wedding- the staff was quite rude. But I have to say that they have quite redeemed themselves and will always get my business. Before Christmas I took in 2 clutches to be monogrammed, one for me and one for my best friend. They called about 3 days later and the girl said that she had accidentally monogrammed my initials on both bags rather than just the one. She not only refunded my monogramming purchase price BUT she also replaced the bag intended for my best friend with one from their store and embroidered it while I waited- FOR FREE- profusely apologizing all the while. I will definitely be a returning customer to Loli and the Bean. read more

First Time-Last Time. My fiance bought me a dress that unraveled and left a hole about two hours after I put it on. He took it back and they wouldn't even give him store credit! What kind of store sells people low-quality merchandise and won't make it right when they're caught?! To make matters worse, they REFUSED to let him speak to a manager. I have never been more appalled at a complete lack of intelligence, customer service and disregard for ethical business practices. It seems a lot smarter to do the right thing, replace the faulty merchandise and keep a customer who could spend potentially thousands of dollars in your establishment... rather than lie, cheat and steal and therefore lose potential customer over (buyer's cost) about $20 bucks. Cute stuff but staff was rude to me and my mother. Terrible communication. I ordered an item that they had run out of, they said it would take two weeks to get it in, kept calling for weeks after and two months after I placed the order the manager said she had just ordered it and it would be in soon! Then they never called to tell me it was in!! Ill be going somewhere else for monograming work and cute gifts from now on. read more

HORRIBLE customer service! I came here because I follow Loli & the Bean on IG and they appeared to have super cute items. I walked in the store and browsed through some dresses and their jewelry. I even tried on a few dresses that I really liked. I said all this to say that I was there for at least 30 minutes and NOT ONE person even spoke to me. I listened to and watched the workers either chat with each other, or walk right past me to greet and chat with other people coming through the door. I almost bought 2 dresses and a necklace that I really wanted but why spend money in a place that doesn't even acknowledge you??? If I'm invisible, then my money is too. Here's a little tip: a simple 'hello'/ 'welcome'/ 'may I help you?' goes a LONG way. Good customer service, much like chivalry, isn't dead. read more

Cute stuff-rude staff. Went in with the goal of buying something to wear to the game and knew they would not be getting my service after 15 minutes of walking around and not one employee acknowledging me. The girls working there were gossiping and could care less about helping customers. Will NOT be back. There are far better boutiques in Tallahassee, don't waste your time with this snobby excuse of an establishment. read more

super cute gifts, but cannot get past the rude, pretentious staff. Once asked a price on a display item and was told that, she was "not sure it is for sale, but if it is, it is really expensive". I turned around and walked out and will not be back if I can help it. And that was not the first time I have observed the rudeness of the staff. Suppose a 6 figure salary cannot afford their items. If you want to deal with snooty sorority kids with no manners, who think they are on a reality show, than this is your shop. otherwise, much better options available. I gave this store two stars mainly because they do have cute products and items-- but that's it. The customer service and communication between staff and customers is awful. Loli and the bean used to be my "go to" store for wedding and birthday gifts but not anymore. There are other monogramming and gift stores I will use in Tallahassee from now on. The staff is snooty and do not go out of their way to make any errors on their part right. When I order and item and pay for it upfront I expect to get exactly what I ordered. When they call you to tell you they are actually out of something you ordered you would expect the store to go above and beyond to make it right-- not at this place. I'll be spending my $ elsewhere with better service. read more
