Hot food from Asian market
pixie n.

I was visiting my in-laws this weekend and my SIL wanted me to take her to this cute little market that was selling the popular empanadas. I saw they also carried fresh calamansi and unless you have a tree in your yard it's really hard to come by in California. We ate an empanada in store while the two lovely lady working were helping me pick some of the other hot food they sell. Their empanadas are sooo good that we bought more for the rest of my in-laws to try. My next trip back I will definitely be adding this market to my staple shops to visit.

Please update your photos. I went to the store specifically for the piomono rolls you posted in your photos and you don't sell them.

Did you wonder how all the 24 hour services and merchants could possibly have disappeared in the…read morequintessential "24 hour town?" It looks like they haven't... they are just quietly existing. This morning I woke up to our two meows both standing by their bowls. We are moving today and were planning on their next meal being at the new place-- but I couldn't stand their sadness! I searched for the earliest opening grocery store and found that Winco is 24 hours. The selection of cat food isn't luxurious but we found something both meows like and the price was identical to Walmart. If you've had ethical issues regarding Walmart, Winco states proudly that they are employee owned. It's a bulk/warehouse style store and a standard grocery.Huge sausage selection... some odds and ends like rope. Low gluten free selection. Decent produce. Helpful service and wide aisles. If they cut the fluorescent lights I'd be infatuated

They even sell in bulk and have a full selection of nuts, baking items, candy, , spices, coffee, dog food, and even a machine to make fresh peanut butter and almond butter. Sometimes you're making a recipe and you don't need to buy an entire bottle of spice and can get exactly what you need. The produce prices are good, the selection is huge, and honestly, It's a solid, well- rounded market. Late at night it can get busy, and sometimes there's only one cashier but they're fast, and I'll gladly take that in exchange for having a 24/7 store. There's always a staff member available for you to ask any questions if you need.. If you're looking to save money, shop anytime, and still get great quality, this is your store.

Each pastry has its own personality. I also enjoyed walking around the shop to find so many other goodies I had to buy. From fruit, to specialty Mexican drinks, and great looking veggies, they also sell some food items prepared in their kitchen. The pulpusas were amazing. Prices aren't bad at all and I was pleasantly surprised to find so many things I wanted. The market is stocked well and the ladies working the counters were very friendly. I'll be back here each time I visit Downtown.

They rearranged it with a better floor plan and everything is very neatly organized. Since I've moved very recently further and closer to the Strip area. I've been discovering other stores to go to instead of closer to the area I was in? This Market will serve me well for little food items I may run out of and it's fairly close to Maryland pkwy. For me it's better than going for anything and everything to a larger chain Supermarket and having to wait in line so long! So if you hate going grocery shopping in the larger Supermarkets, this one is a good choice. I was surprised all the different items they do have?
