On the way out I was given a follow up appointment. I went today for my appointment and the lady, Ashley, didn't even know who I was. She asked how is your arm where you put the cream. I told her why I had been there before, and she didn't even look at it. She said it was fine. The reason they gave me an appointment was to check all the skin on my whole body. I couldn't believe it. I said I did not want or need that. She said OK and walked out. I stopped at the front desk on the way out and was told that because it was an office visit, they had to charge my copay and bill my insurance. I did not request this service, I did not know this is what they planned to do. This was sneaky and probably illegal. What despicable people.

They took my Covid vaccine card and said I could not get it back until I received my booster. I understand that things happen but it was very discouraging because I could not even reschedule. As they refused to give me my vaccine card, therefore "forcing" me to stay and wait. I was extremely upset and politely conveyed this to the person behind the counter. My concerns fell on deaf ears, she walked away, without making any comment, except to say " taking your card is our policy". You cannot have it back until you receive your shot. So although they provide a service, be prepared to wait a bit even though you may have a scheduled appointment. Most told me they waited 45 minutes to an hour.

I purchased two fall candles in 2025 with matching wallflowers. I didn't have the chance to burn them last year, because I have a stockpile. When fall season began in 2026 I plugged in my wallflowers and instantly got a migraine from the fragrance. Because I know bbw has an exceptional return policy, I took the candles back to the Port Charlotte store. Where an older red haired woman told me my unlit candles were marked mos and too old to be exchanged. Having previous worked for the company I knew that wasn't true. If they were marked mos they could be exchanged and that stock would later be sold to staff. I called corporate and they happily & easily gave me a refund by searching my phone number and looking up my past purchases. Moral of the story: staff is under educated on company policy, and is unhelpful with customer satisfaction. I love my BBW & will go to another store next time!
