OMG... what an exceptional business, especially during a pandemic! When my neighbor and I took my…read moreBissell Premier Pro 2X carpet steam cleaner in for repairs, Colleen was handling the customers with such lovely humor. Everyone was social distancing, even though Debbie and I were the only ones with masks. (I don't even answer my door without one since I have cancer... no chances taken!) These two gentlemen were picking up a HUGE machine that did some type of sewing, but I'm not sure what kind. Looked industrial to me. She got out little furniture flat dollies for them to take it out to their truck, and offered her hubby's help if needed. (That's what hubbies are for, right?) Fast forward past us looking at all the beautiful quilts customers had made, some for sale and some just for display, along with the pillows and other items that had the same deal. They have lots of materials, threads, and countless sewing items to choose from... just know they don't carry upholstery material. (Just sayin'...) Anyway, I get up to the counter with my carpet cleaner and proceed to tell Colleen that even though I had changed the belts, the beater bar wasn't turning, so it wouldn't extract. Everything else seemed to be fine. She said they would check it out and give me a call. No deposit necessary, so off we went! The next day (!) I get a call and it's working like a champ. NO CHARGE. I'm all *WAIT... WHAT???* She said hubby fired it up after putting some solution in it AND IT WORKED. Great Granny Grunt... what in the world? I guess the ride bumped something in place. Who knows? However, I asked to make sure it really DID extract, so he did, and they got a clean rug out of it! We go pick it up and she STILL doesn't want to charge me. Nope. Not gonna put up with that. His time fiddling with it IS WORTH MONEY. Her time checking me in and then out IS WORTH MONEY. Calling me IS WORTH MONEY. I got her to finally accept a base service rate of $20. This was MORE than worth it to ME! These people are jewels. They also repair all manner of things. Bissell had closed their Murfreesboro location so here ya go for Bissell! They told Debbie they could fix her Rainbow too. Plus, all the sewing machines I saw, even that ginormous weird one! Love these peeps!!! (My almost 15 year old beloved Siberian Husky passed away on the 3rd, and I've had to do some carpet cleaning where he had urinary incontinence and peed past his diapers... one of those amazing skills huskies have. Don't know what I would do without this carpet cleaner, and if they hadn't fixed it I would be screaming in frustration on top of my grief. I thank them for this again...)
