I saw many beautifully dresses, shirts, and outfits that were things I find myself looking for, but I ended up turning to online stores to get what I needed. The first time I came here was to help my grandmother get supplies to make a christening gown for my daughter. The people in here are so friendly and helpful and produce some amazing looking items. My wife and I were gifted a smocking class by family and gave us a different experience with them than what you normally have with a retail store. And yes, I did take a smocking class... and it was a blast! The teacher really helped us learned the strategies and was great about it when we made mistakes (which is bound to happen). It was a fun experience that we have not utilized the benefits of to its fullest potential. Anything else we have needed, the staff here has given great assistance. Any time we need fabric or have questions, the Smocking Bird is our go-to place to visit.
