My name is Ron with DBA Major Truckings. Almost a year ago we had some issues with a past employee . Unfortunately, due to their behavior while unsupervised we had to terminate their employment . At the time we were working with a contract shipper who we picked and delivered loads for daily. During this time that same employee managed to get a Freight guard report when they picked up an LDI load and gave it to another carrier . We don't know why they did that nor did they have any authorization from Ownership/ management for booking a load in the first place . LDI caught on and issued a report . That employee never mentioned the report and managed to hide it by deleting the response email the carrier gets . 10 months later we finished our contract and got back on the load boards only to be notified by brokers we had that report . We contacted MIKE CANNISTRA the Vice president of LDI who has their name on the report hoping they can understand it was done without our knowledge only to be met with direct accusation of us being scammers and in a condescending way stating he won't help us . I looked him up and his the head of LDI fraud prevention and voiced figure in the industry who has done Blogs, seminars, speeches, and conferences trying to work towards protecting the industry against fraud. So with all that knowledge how come he can't see that it was an isolated incident . That all other reporting platforms had zero negative remarks or reports regarding our MC . Accusing us of " just purchasing the mc " in our last email, not checking to see that it's been the same owner since day 1 . Perhaps our geographical location played a role ? But is that fair to label us bad if some bad seeds came from our area? Mr Cannistra didn't take the time to evaluate who he was speaking with in the email and made him sound real immature and unprofessional. Who cares how much fraud he stops if his way of labeling the scammers labels an innocent carrier in the process . Shame on him for responding to our email as if we had some play in what happened 10 months ago. If we were scammers we would have multiple Reports I'm sure and not the clean record we've maintained for years besides his report . We have trucks inspections and authority that has never missed a beat since it went active . Our years of hard work in this industry should have some meaning especially when requesting a deeper look into actions outside our companies usual behavior. It's one thing to say no to removing the report , but another thing by mocking us and calling us scammers in a toying tone via email. Same Mike Cannistra who was quoted saying he rather spend 10 mins on the phone to feel out the other party then wasting days emailing back and forth to get the same idea of who your talking to . He wouldn't even answer your calls. Shame on LDI and same on Mike Cannistra . We know fraud is a problem and we face it daily as well . Booked this load with Charles Jimenez on Oct 15, 2021. we had a team in Jacksonville FL empty on wednesday and we sent them to Homestead FL to pick up on friday. we requested for PU# to charlez, he advised he will get it by thursday evening. we followed up on thursday evening and he said friday morning he will give us the PU#. friday afternoon he advised there is no load. we requested that we need waiting time and we drove over 300 miles for this load. but no one really care about our waiting time. we had a team driver and we end up moving that team today from FL (Oct 25, 2021) we got stuck there for 6 days because of this load. does anyone care about us as a carrier??? We lost so much and when I call to speak with Charles Jimenez but doesnt come to the phone to speak to us. This is very unprofessional of him. I deal with pretty much every frieght broker out there. I own ten trucks with teams on all of them. The FL office is the bad one. They will lie to get you to take the loads. They held truck up loading for 23hrs then charged me a late fee cause deluvery was effected. They promised they would get me unloaded sat then would not unload till mon. I am still waiting to be paid on 2 separate trips. Ldi outside of fl seams fine but inside fl they are liars and cheaters. read more

Still waiting on payment after over 70+ days and its taking going through the bond to get it. Rude agents who lie and insult you and try and get out of paying you for a load you hauled even after the threats. Having to go through bond to get our money and even then they are coming up with wild lies to fight it and not pay. STEER CLEAR! These guys didn't even have the load info correct in their own system, didn't know the hours of their own customers, the correct date it was supposed to deliver on, ect, and their receivers all spoke so bad about them its amazing they are still in business. Will NEVER haul for them again and wouldn't advise anyone else to either unless you want to haul it for free or fight for payment through their bond. read more

We confirmed a load with the Miami office. They said it could load any time on the following Monday. They called to tell me, after I sent a truck, that the load had to load at 0700. They were advised well in advance that the driver could not load until mid to late afternoon. They canceled the load. Our driver was harassed the next day, wanting to know when he would be there to load, as well as the receiver calling him constantly, wanting to know when it would be delivered! They did not even bother to call their clients to let them know that THEY had canceled the load. I advised them that I would be billing for a "truck order, but not used". I would advise anyone thinking of using this firm to think twice. They are a joke...rude, uneducated and as far as I'm concerned, scammers. read more
