I researched five companies and decided that a smallish local firm would have better coordination…read moreand cooperation between the design engineer, the suppliers and the fitters than is likely to be the case with the corporate people. (You do hear horror stories.) There was a small glitch over the starting date due to staff illness, but otherwise everything ran smoothly and efficiently. It's a small house with very little extra space to leave stuff. We were having the walls, ceiling and floor done at the same time - all arranged with B&H Kitchens - but Darren the fitter had everything sorted out without any fuss and a minimum of inconvenience. The standard of work is excellent and we are very pleased with the end result. It's always good when you are dealing with helpful, friendly people, for whom nothing seems like too much trouble. Thanks chaps.

Their installation team were all really reliable and friendly and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. Any niggles were dealt with quickly and we appreciated the time they took to explain everything to us. We would definitely use them again.

A woeful, expensive mistake a company not remotely true to…read moreits word. they claim they passionately want to exceed expectations! Ha! lacklustre design service, like pulling teeth, not one original idea was forthcoming from Stephen. Regretfully we continued to place the order - paid £500 for delivery to a first floor new build after hiring a building approved temporary ladder (on Stephen's instruction) at a cost of £400 and the delivery men refused to walk up it. we paid builders to carry it upstairs and the fitter did the most appalling job of removing the support work inside the carcass by smashing them out with a mallet. He was satisfied with the splintered cabinets and we were not. After much argument they were replaced by another passive-aggressive fitter called Lemi who also did a nasty job. The business owner Mark defiantly refused any face-to-face meeting with us, taunting us to complain as he didn't care, nothing to do with him despite having £23,00 of our money. avoid at all costs. dealing with Schmidt has been a deeply unpleasant experience. Schmidt Kitchens take your money and give a substandard kitchen in return whilst misleading the purchaser by claiming to be a professional outfit. We are out of pocket - the delays in remedying have cost us dear. stay well away We are headed for the small claims court
